Really good tasting BBQ with lots of gluten-free options. The pastrami was not stringy and tasted amazing. Many different barbecue sauce options to try. Sadly, they were out of brisket the night I ate there.

The food was really good however I wish they are more clear with their prices, as we got multiple hidden charges that weren’t stated anywhere on the menu. We were told our entrees come with “coleslaw, pickles or both” and then were charged .50 each for picking the 3rd option. We would have skipped the 8 pickle slices for $1 had we known. Then choosing our sides we both picked sweet potato fries and had another .75 upcharge each as is a “premium side” again no where on the menu is this stated. My partner ordered the ribs meat platter which was another $1.50 upcharge and then it came out with only 3 ribs (amount not stated on the menu again). I’m sorry but 3 ribs and 2 sides for $19.75 is laughably steep and would have just ordered a half rack had we known. In the end its just a few dollars but I really dont appreciate the surprise nickle and diming when we got the check and it feels really scummy.

4/4/23: Fantastic Spicy Asian salad with crispy Pork Belly! 1/12/23: Back for another visit. Brisket sandwich was great! Finally made it to the new location. I normally go with brisket but the Pitmaster Burger sounded too good to pass up. Pork belly and brisket as a burger. Oh yeah. It was fantastic! Nice and juicy and the IPA sauce topped it off. Grab some extra napkins. The smoked Mac ‘n Cheese and slaw were also very good. Great atmosphere and service. Will definitely be back.

The brisket and the flank steak were good. The turkey was smokey and favorable but slightly dried… the leftover was much improved. I liked the pickles a lot and the coleslaw was great on the turkey. The apple flavored sauce paired nicely with the turkey. I saved room for dessert. The butter cake was great.

The food was average. The ribs were good and relatively meaty. But the brisket was dry. The rub they use on the meats seemed pretty salty. The 2 sauces I tried — Carolina and sweet hot — were blah. The Carolina tasted mostly like plain vinegar. And I will never understand why restaurants these days feel like they have to improve on the basic yet perfectly tasty collards sautéed with pork fat!

been there twice now great BBQ both times had the brisket and chicken, the green beans are excellent. Updating the turkey and the ribs are excellent as well. The candy bacon is fantastic and their new dessert the chocolate bomb (I think) is awesome!

The takeout service was good, the food was just okay. My favorite was the Mac and cheese. The ribs were okay, but not for me.I wasn’t not a fan of the seasoning. The pastrami was good I did like that as you don’t see that often on menus. Collards where way over seasoned, may just have been a off batch. On the fence on giving it another shot, at the price point I need to really love it.

First visit. I got the bowl with pulled pork, smoked max n cheese, bbq beans. A side of green beans too. Taste and flavor were excellent! Smoked Mac was over the top. Pork had great flavor and went well with the bbq beans. Green beans had great flavor and seasoning. Highly recommended!
