The restaurant is every bit of a country diner, we loved the coziness of it. Not to mention the breakfast was amazing. I got a breakfast burrito with green chiles and it was one of the bests I’ve ever had. My family got pancakes and they were fluffy and great. The staff was also as sweet as can be. We don’t drive this way too often but when we do, we will stop in.

Sorry to say that the food quality has gone down…we ate here last year and we really liked it, but today we’ll we were kinda disappointed. The special smothered burrito was kinda tasteless with the red sauce was ok, and the Buffalo chicken sandwich well it was tenders not a chicken breast. The fries were good, but the sandwich was ok. The chips were cold and kinda tasteless and the salsa tasted like tomato sauce. The cashier/cook / server had no personality, when my wife greeted him he just stood there and stared.

Me and my wife were traveling the US and we broke down just outside of town we were kindly escorted to this restaurant, we had little to no money in our name to fix our car , we were outside and a gentleman who runs most construction there asked if we ate and told us to come inside and eat , we took the offer and went inside he began to ask us about our journey. After the breakfast he give us some cash and introduced us to the staff of this restaurant which we also explained what brought us to this restaurant in small town Melrose, the kindness of this staff helped to get our car fixed and sent us to a local mechanic in town , we went to the mechanic and he said the job will be done in a few hours so we waited, the car was done and we proceed to tell him how the ones in this restaurant helped us to pay for the parts he was in awe and told us to go on and not to worry about paying save it for when we really need it , and after that we have never forgotten y’all , y’all have truly showed us there is more good out in this world , to the staff and towns folk who helped us, thank you , now we have roots in GA and a son on the way after seeing the world thanks to kindness such as yours ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you
