Went for lunch on a Saturday and had the Mountain Sushi roll. It was incredible, my wife had the Tempura Roll and it was terrific as well. -Side note, they do have the Saporo 1L (iykyk)

This place was pretty good! The decoration is nothing fancy but it’s definitely nicer inside than you’d expect looking at the outside, and the hidden seating area in the basement is cool. There were a few things marked as unavailable on the menu, but thankfully nothing I wanted, and even so they still had a pretty wide selection of Japanese and Korean food.

Sushi is great! Very reasonably priced and staff is always kind and efficient! Some sushi items are different to say the least but we always enjoy getting take out and looking forward to dining in soon. Our kids love the teriyaki chicken also!

My friends and I went for lunch here a few days ago, and I got the lunch “Combination B” (pictured) that came with salad and miso soup to start followed by a plate of teriyaki chicken, steamed rice, California roll, potsticker/croquet, and a couple of orange slices. I demolished the food (in a good way ), and for the price, I was fully satisfied. The salad had some sort of tangy sesame paste as the dressing, and I found it to be quite unique, while the miso soup itself hit the right umami notes. I thought the steamed rice needed a few more minutes of cooking, but it could be just the variety/batch of rice, as I found it to be a bit chewy without the mushiness of typical East Asian sticky rice. Rest of the lunch was pretty good – overall a bit Americanized – but I didn’t go here expecting something out of Jiro’s restaurant either .

The building is a bit run down but the food was good. They don’t have a comprehensive selection of Japanese food that you’d expect from Japanese restaurant found in the northeast, but you are in IN after all. What they do offer has good flavor. A decent place to get some Japanese/ Korean cuisine.
