Took my daughter here for Valentine’s Day. I was homeless the last three years. Lost my kids bc I couldn’t afford a home. I’m on my way back up and this place made a memory we will never forget. The waitress Alix was perfect. The food was perfect. The timing for everything was perfect. Once I get us a place to call our own, I am definitely coming back to celebrate with all my babies. Everything was perfect. Kind of tricky to get to but worth every second of the drive. Even the other customers were incredibly friendly. The banana flambe dessert was unexpectedly the best dessert I’ve ever eaten. This is definitely my new go to special occasion memory making spot.

What an amazing experience. Made reservations for lunch at the restaurant and visited the tasting room before our scheduled time. Large open space and plenty of tables in the tasting area. Also an outdoor patio overlooking the vineyard. Staff seemed busy, though there were few customers. Tastings are assigned in groupings by type of wine, you cannot select just anything you want. Wife had reds and I had the spirit’s selection (their own distilled Rum, vodka, tequila, gin and Bourbon). All the wines my wife had on the reds list she thought were phenomenal, my spirits were great, enjoyed the bourbon enough to make a bottle purchase. The restaurant was comfortable and inviting, with a bar area just passed the entry and tables tucked throughout. It was a quiet afternoon with not many patrons. Our waiter was helpful, polite, and knowledgeable about the facility and food. Our entree’s surpassed expectations with appeal and flavor. We splurged for dessert and that may have been one of the best decisions I made all year. Do not…I repeat…DO NOT miss an opportunity to indulge in their sweets. We had a memorable time visiting Kiepersol and look forward to visiting again.

We went for our anniversary. Food was good but service definitely lacked. I had to remind the waitress that I ordered a glass of wine. Even had to ask for a second glass. Very disappointed as I was expecting a memorable experience. Was asked when I made reservations if we were celebrating an event. I said yes! It’s our 43rd anniversary. Sure there was a cute card on the table but waitress never acknowledged our event. She set a desert menu on the table but never asked if we even wanted dessert. I’ve seen all the cute desserts with “Happy Anniversary” written on the plate but we weren’t offered that. Really disappointing

Read their website carefully first if you’ve never been here! I was unfortunately not able to update the Google map when I went, although I tried. The north roads are not open to the public. I did lots of research via their website and learned before I went to enter from the south side of the estate through the neighborhood (the website has great directions we used). I made reservations for lunch on a Friday when they opened at 11 before the winery tour which started at 1 (also made a reservation, separate phone call, see other review for Grand Room tours). More than enough time to enjoy lunch leisurely and get to the tour on time.

This was our second time at this restaurant. Ordered the vegan steak. This was not anything near a steak. I have had vegan steak elsewhere that was good. This vegan steak was like a vegetable pancake. I would rate it a 2 on a 10 scale. Not recommended.

It’s a get away from city life and traffic. If y’all want a honey moon or anniversary…this is the place for couples. Family friendly too. It’s a long drive…but it’s worth every mile to get there. Reservations recommended. Great for special occasions. Capacity is small..but cozzy. Take the tour as well. We just went for breakfast. Not recommended for Alcoholics in recovery. Temptations of alcohol. If you know what I mean. Please drink responsibly. Don’t drink and drive. Uber if you must. Other than that….food is great. Recommend to couples only.

My first visit to the Restaurant at Kiepersol and I absolutely Loved the dining experience. I was visiting a relative in Tyler, Texas and it was suggested we go to the Restaurant for a bite to eat. ( We did make a reservation.)The ambiance and the atmosphere are fantastic. The service was Outstanding. Our server (Alex from Henderson) was friendly, engaging and gracious. I ordered from the Saturday Breakfast Menu their version of Eggs Benedict (scrumptious). My cousin and sister ordered the shrimp pasta, while my niece ordered a bowl of Lobster Bisque along with a Caesar Salad. There were NO complaints pertaining to the food. It was all DELICIOUS. The next time I’m in East Texas, I have every intention of dining at the Restaurant at Kiepersol. It was an enjoyable brunch/lunch all the way around.
