Wish I had taken more pics. I had crab cakes, gumbo, and jambalaya and bread pudding for desert. The flavors were absolutely on point. My only wish would have been to have more meat and vegetables in the gumbo and jambalaya. It was delicious, but I really wanted more substance in each bite vs. so many bites of just roux or just rice in the jambalaya.

Had a delicious lunch there today. We mainly just ordered appetizers instead of a whole entree. The crab cakes were awesome. Crunchy on the outside smooth and tender on the inside. My boyfriend ordered the gumbo. Sausage had great flavor. They have a friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone that enjoys Cajun food or seafood. You can’t go wrong! Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the food! I was starving!

First visit at this location, we were there on a Sunday during brunch and we had no wait to get a table. Be warned do not sit outside unless you enjoy sitting on a freeway eating your food. There’s plenty of room inside, we won’t make the same mistake, again.

Just had our THIRD visit here and it was amazing as Usual! Our server David was full of personality, very attentive and the food was fresh, hot & absolutely Delicious. My favorite is the shrimp & grits and the crawfish etouffee is the Best we’ve had since our trip to New Orleans! Thank you for being our favorite Sunday meal!

It’s my wife’s 50th high school reunion and 6 of us were looking for a place to eat lunch. We picked NOLA and we could not be any more pleased that we did. They seated us immediately and then we told 6 more of our classmates we were there and they showed up too. So with zero prior notice a loud raucous group of 12 nearly 70 year olds showed up and were all seated together. Our server was Madison and she was absolutely fabulous. She not only took our orders but she took photos of us for us and simply was just fantastic. We had the best time thanks to Madison and all the staff at NOLA! The drinks were awesome and the food was terrific, it came out hot and quick!! You won’t be disappointed! Thanks MADISON!

Tried NOLA for a late lunch. It was honestly delicious! Our server (Erika I think..) was amazing. The boudin balls were amazing, fries with crawfish and andouille excellent, mufaletta was on point. 100% will go back!

We went to NOLA on the open Sunday Jan 29. They were very good accommodating us, with the toddlers. Service was good, but I got the feeling the staff on duty was insufficient. Cold coffee was not a good start. Bottomless champagne was $12, and one could order various juices with it, although I wish the juice was not in a fast-food sauce container and actually arrived with the bubbly. The brunch menu is dominated with Eggs Benedict and fried green tomatoes, the latter of which I cannot eat, but there were a few in which they were not listed. The eggs I ordered had the tomato in there anyway, which I caught in time. The grits on the side were cooked nicely, and delightfully buttery. There was a nicely served fresh fruit side. We were pleasantly surprised with a dozen shrimp in that dish in the photo below. The older of the two toddlers had her own regular french toast, and enjoyed that as well. The Bananas Foster French Toast was unique and a treat.

At NOLA, it’s all about the food. A little hiccup in the service? The food is worth it! Considering other price hikes I’ve seen in the restaurant biz, NOLA shows a restraint. I ordered the New Orleans style barbecue shrimp, ( the heads are still connected so be prepared to work), and the seafood gumbo. The shrimp were large enough that I didn’t mind having to remove the head. My grandmother was from Pensacola so I knew what I was doing. If you don’t know what you’re doing, it’s easy enough. The sauce, and with this dish it’s all about the sauce, was exquisite and the real deal. The gumbo, with a rich roux, is also authentic. Roux is complex and if you’ve ever made it, you know it can stop you dead in your tracks before you even get started! Kudos to chef. Hubby had the Geaux Geaux shrimp po boy. Pure genius in that it’s fried shrimp BUT with the famous barbecue sauce. Amazing! And the bread was soft and not too thick, not too thin. Washed it all down with an ice cold beer. Pure culinary heaven!
