Very clean place inside & outside, well arranged where they serve you a variety of dishes. I stopped here for the pupusas which is my favorite Salvadorian dish. The people tending the place were amicable & welcoming and had a very positive vibe to them. I ordered a pair of pupusas along with two Pacifico beers and it was very satisfying after a long day of driving. Mendota California rules! USA

I had really low expectations when I walked into this restaurant. The chips were kinda stale, and the salsa kinda bland. But I was pleasantly surprised that my wet Carne Asada, and shrimp Burrito was actually really good. . The red sauce on top was just the right amount of spice. Not too hot to eat, but just the right amount of spice to make your mouth tingle.

I was craving pupusas. Definitely hit the spot! Sooo yummmy. Table was dirty, but we could have sat anywhere we wanted and I’m not picky, I was really hungry lol, I’m sure if I asked for it to be cleaned they would have with no hesitation. The food was satisfying but the portions aren’t good enough. When I asked for my check I got a receipt with number no explanation of what I was paying for. Their Yuka with chicharron is not a dish I would recommend there. I had to get up to ask for refills and napkins. So if you want good service I would not recommend coming here if you are picky.

Great food, but the prices are higher than other places. The workers are nice and double check your order. The tables can be sticky or they might be cleaning them while you wait to be seated.
