This place used to be good before the pandemic. Now, not so much. The staff is very friendly but sadly their pupusas don’t taste that good curtido was okay and the salsa too the only problem is that they only have spicy salsa which i didn’t like because my kids don’t like anything spicy and they only eat the pupusas with extra salsa … i hope they get better with time…

Pupusas revueltas were dry not a pleasant flavor. Curtido was the only thing I liked. Empanadas de crema were ok. Orchata is really good. This was my first and last time I order from here….

I’ll be completely honest with you, I have been wanting to try these pupusas forever but I’ve been hesitant to do so. I finally decided to try them today 4/14/23 and I was surprised! The pupusas I ordered were cheese, pork and a green herb. They were sooooo delicious! Try them out! You won’t regret it

Decided to give this place a try since our to go place was closed, I ordered a sopa de pata and it was No Good at all it honestly tasted canned they just added a bunch on big pieces of cabbage no yucca at all, no corn, tasted watered down and it was spicy. We ordered some pupusas too and those were more doughy and less of the other good stuff, after all will not be returning. Give 2 stars because lady who answered was polite.

Sorry I didn’t take any pics of the food. I was hungry!!! My coworker told me this place was good, n finally I had a chances to try it. I called in my order, picked it up n came home. Everything I ordered was there, nothing was missing. I forgot to take a pic, but I did think it was a lil bit, but it was more then enough. I ordered yucca frita with chicharon, sorry for the spelling, n some pupusas. N I must say, the food was beyond delish. The yucca frita was just cooked right, it had a nice color n not over cooked. I can’t complaint about the food. The service was great. Either way, every bite was delish, the pupusa was beyond great. I didn’t think I would find a good Salvadoran restaurant in antelope valley, but I’m glad I finally try going to El Tamarindo. Beyond delish, can’t wait to go back again.

Ok, so the food was absolutely delicious. It’s hard to find authentic food here in the AV and by far my favorite. Only complaint its stuffy, no air circulating and cash only. With that being said I would recommend take out, but I plan on going back for sure. Can’t wait!
