Ordered enchiladas.. Tried to ask if this was correct… and she said the fried torilla with meat and veggies on top was infact an enchiladas… which we realized it is.. which is fine.. but..Had shredded chicken so assumed it was safe to take a big bite. Turns out I bit into 2 bones and scratched the roof of my mouth.

I ate there today for the first time. We ordered three dishes, all of which were absolutely delicious. They were very few customers, and the food only took a few minutes to come out. I got exactly what I expected – delicious interior Honduran food. FWIW, the waitress made a point of telling us that they served Honduran food and not Mexican food. I suspect it’s pretty common for folks to go in there expecting to order Tex Mex and the staff are probably a bit sick of it.

Ate here today for the first time. Was not familiar with Honduran food so expected something a bit different. That’s what I got and it was delicious. When I ordered the chicken enchiladas the waitress said “this is not Mexican” in broken English to let me know it probably was not what I was used to. The food arrived quickly. What I got was more like tostadas but were delicious with stewed chicken, cabbage, fresh tomato and avocado on a crispy tortilla with a sauce. My friend got a chicken plate that was very tasty. I asked for some raw onion and was brought two types: regular chopped onion and a red pickled onion that was outstanding! We also tried the plantain with queso which was good. We enjoyed the new flavors and foods I was not familiar with. Delicious!

I am going to post this in English since I find unfair for English-speaking audience to be mislead by not understanding. First, I wanted to give this restaurant a second chance but the way the owner replies to the reviews is not professional and instead of apologizing and gain clientele she is telling them to go find another place to eat…very unfortunate!. I second what all the customers are saying about cleanliness, customer service and speed. I have been in many many restaurants which also do make to order food and do not take that long to bring you the food, the wait time for me was at least 45 min…very disappointed! The prices are also outrageous, I don’t think they are fair at all, even in San Francisco, CA to find cheaper and delicious baleadas. I know the owner will reply telling me to go to San Fco and that is ok, I don’t care. Again, I just find rude the type of responses instead of acknowledging that they have some issues and tell customers they will work on them. Maybe in a few years if they improve I will give them another shot. Thanks!

Food was definitely worth going back for, you could tell time attention to detail were taken and is a refreshing change from the normal so called “ethnic” fare offered in the immediate area. However, when we got the bill it seemed very high to what was itemized on the menu. Advise caution on allowing front of the house staff have access to a manual POS system. Ask for a RECIEPT and audit line by line.
