I loved this place. The decor was absolutely right on point based off its name of the restaurant. The atmosphere and decor brought me back to my childhood years. The wait staff was amazing.. Let’s talk about the food. The food was absolutely AMAZING! I got the mashed potatoes and it taste just like my grandmas.. the Mac and cheese was the best I ever had.. they took the food from the decades and elevated it. I would definitely try this place when you visit. The desserts where spot on not to sweet but not to bitter.. just right. The cheese cake was so perfectly made and the strawberries and this tasteful glaze in it.. The portions of every was the perfect size. I highly recommended this place if you want to go back in time! The little chicken pot pies where made to perfection!! Everything we had was delicious!!

Came her for birthday dinner. Didn’t tell them it was my birthday but the service was amazing. Very attentive, friendly, helpful. All food was amazing and felt fun. I see people giving low ratings because they expected one thing and were given another. We went in (7 of us) opened minded and were blown away with the quality and creativity of everything. Was a great experience and we left raving about everything and we all found it hard to pick our favorite dishes. (We ate pizza rolls, caviar deviled eggs, Caesar salad, hangar steak, wild mushrooms, Mac and cheese, Voltaggios, lava cake, creme brulee cheese cake, cookies and cream pudding, and key lime pie. Got old fashioned, Cosmo, and long Island ice tea)

Overall it was a great experience. The decor gave us so many memories that it sparked conversation while we waited for our dinner. The pepperoni rolls were delicious as were the chicken pot pie croquettes. The VoltaggiOs had a sweeter sauce than I expected but the pasta was well cooked and the meatball was amazing. The chicken and dumplings were good but the texture of the dumpling was softer than I liked. I know it was meant to be that way and it tasted good but it was just too soft for my liking. We had cookies and cream for dessert and that was the highlight. The service was okay but our server seemed to be very busy with other tables. Definitely give Retro a try while it’s available.

We really loved this place!! Decor, vibe and theme = amazing. Food was clever and really good- the parmesan churro caesar, caprese, and key lime dessert were the stars for us and I would go back 100x just to get those- I am still dreaming of that key lime dessert. Cocktails great, service outstanding.

Nurse, foodie, and Top Chef super fan here. We booked our reservation over a month ago and were SO EXCITED to try Retro….I mean it’s the VOLTAGGIO brothers!! Gosh….unfortunately we were also so terribly disappointed.

My wife and I were there opening night. Service was great, we saw both Michael and Brian. They may have stolen some things out of my storage unit from my past, and I forgive them if they did.

I love the retro concept. The decor brought me back to my younger years. I laughed at the banana seat bike and the different types of cell phones throughout the years. I don’t remember our servers name, but he was nice but soft-spoken. I could barely hear him speak. However, someone else stopped by our table. She was nice.

Cheese and crackers was good, but the only thing we tried I wouldn’t suggest. Pepperoni rolls were amazing, chicken pot pie was creative and delicious, wagyu beef pot pie was the best thing we had, cookies and cream was ok, and creme brulee cheesecake was amazing (and I generally am not a cheesecake fan.) Cute little to go package at the end with pixie stix, pop rocks, etc. Service was fun and felt almost like restaurant wars with the fun menu and theme. Definitely recommend!
