This is the type of place that isn’t bad but isn’t good either. It does the job though if you want Mexican food in the middle of the PA countryside. The beans were somewhat gross I suppose and the portions weren’t huge but again, it did the job. The churro bowl dessert was ok. Nothing spectacular here. Normal food, service, atmosphere, and prices. If you’re hungry for Mexican you could do worse.

Love coming here! One of our favorite places to go for Mexican. Chipotle & Qdoba have nothing on Rey Azteca. I highly recommend the flautas and the sizzling fajita skillets, but everything we’ve ever gotten has been delicious. And it’s cute & quiet inside! And, refreshing drinks! Perfect date night spot!

It was overall very good. The food was delicious. Most of the food has more spice to it. However, they have options that are not spicy. Some of the works have a hard time communicating with you because they don’t all understand English that well. There is always someone else there (whether another server or host) who can understand English and help you if you have any trouble with your current server. They have Mexican music playing and festive booths.

Amazing food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. I loved the homely decor, which felt authentic and personal. There is soul in this grub, and if I’m ever this far from home again, I will return!

Rey Azteca is my favorite Mexican food restaurant! The food is always fresh and made to order. The complimentary chips and salsa is the perfect way to start your meal. Plus, the salsa is tasty and has a slight kick. And make sure you order a lime margarita on the rocks, or frozen. Very good! Plus the service is fast and friendly.

Food was awesome. Waited for ever for drinks and refills. But not very Authentic anymore as they must not employ real Mexican people. Nothing but a bunch of young over weight white women who could care less if you get served or not, I guess due to “entitlement”. This was once a great place to eat, not so any more. The over weight white waitresses can’t fit down the isles between tables and thus their nasty huge butts are always rubbing on your table as your trying to eat. Great decor inside though. But this place has lost it’s authenticity. It used to be a great place and none of the employees could speak english….those were the days…I miss them.

Fun friendly restaurant. The food is exceptional. Watching the servers come out with plates the whole way up their arms is incredible. It’s almost like dinner and a show. I haven’t had a dish that I didn’t like
