Pretty good Mexican food, nothing out of this world. Parillada was tasty and fajitas were also good. One thing that stood out were the flour tortillas. They were not the store bough kind, I believe they make them in house. If I were to rate just the tortillas, I’d give them a 10.

So when at Rey Azteca by Mary Washington. We asked for our second order of chips and salsa. It was refused to be given to us bc they said it was only the first order free. We had never had that problem so we asked to speak to the manager. He was rude and even though we pointed out in the menu where it said we get a second order he yanked the menu out of my husbands hand and repeatedly said ‘no no no’ he refused to give us the GM number. Also last time they stole money from our card. Adding money to the tip.

Visited 2/10/23. Order nachos it came out dry. I added beef & Lettuce its .75 cents extra. Too much sour cream, not enough cheese or Pico. The meat was greasy. You get two free chips & salsa. Atmosphere was great & waitress ok

I went here for the first time for lunch the other day and had a great time! The atmosphere is really chill and the Christmas decorations also were very nice. I ordered some tacos and they were VERY good. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because of some pricing. The chips they serve at the start were really good, but it cost THREE DOLLARS to get more. Other than that, I had an awesome experience!

Overall pretty good experience, the food is not bad but also not fantastic. Our server was hard to get a hold of, but they were nice. The drinks menu did look good, but we didn’t try anything. Dessert was nice, we had the flan which was very well made.

Stopped by here on our way hone from Vacationing in Charlotte NC. I was craving some “good” Mexican food. However, Dissapointed to not find it here Food was mediocre tasting. Never had such horrible Salsa. My Margarita was served in a small Cocktail glass and was very weak with little Tequila. The most positive thing about this Visit was the atmosphere. We sat outside at an Umbrella-covered table.

This restaurant have the best Mexican food around. We were on the road going somewhere else and decided to stopped. I’m glad we did! The food was great, the service outstanding and the portions were large enough to share with two people. The chips, salsa and guacamole were delicious!

My family use to love this place and went at least weekly. The last 3 times we have been the food is terrible. We went last night during the diner hour. The chicken in my enchilada was so hard and dry I couldn’t eat it. My taco shell was stale. We won’t be back. My waiter was great.

Our first time here and it was pretty good. I got the ray azteca and it was really good! My husband got the steak, chicken, & shrimp fajita and the steak was dry. Everything else was cooked well though. The kids ate all of their quesadillas so they must have been good. We did get a little attitude to one of the workers who brought out our food because we didn’t hear him right away. Our server was very nice though. Restrooms were very clean.
