Very disappointed with food first and last time going there chicken was hard and dry brisket was juiceless and dry seemed like yesterdays food, chicken and some of the brisket was mixed with yesterday’s and fresh, we complained and they brought the freshly made chicken so why not serve that in the first place, slaw charro beans tea were ok. pandemic causing restaurants to lose business so they are cutting back in quality not a good move. Don’t panic stay cool for only the strong survive.

We just happened on this place after putting gas at Sam’s on our way to SPI from San Antonio. Hungry & needed to use the restroom. We were so impressed! Brisket, ribs & turkey were delicious. My companion loved the potato salad, which he is very picky about. We’ll definitely stop back by on our way home. ❤️

This place is great! The brisket was very moist and delicious. We had a moist sliced brisket sandwich combo for like 9$. Only thing I wasn’t feeling was the potato salad if u like it sweet u will love it but I personally don’t like it to sweet. The sweet tea is good. I also loved the way they put a wash hand station in the front. We will be coming back!

The Brisket was average. What was intensely disappointing was the indifference of the window takeout woman on the afternoon of 8/24/23. She never looked at me, greeted me and handed off my order in a bag and looked away without a thank you. She seems like someone who hates her job, is bored or feels that she is better than being there. Not coming back.

Love ALMOST everything about this place. Their coleslaw isn’t my favorite, but with so many other sides that are great, I’m not missing it. Every experience has been consistent. The food is always more than satisfying, the staff is very welcoming and I feel at home when dining in. Great job, guys.

Pork ribs were delicious and the meat slides right off the bone. Definitely try one of the potatoes loaded with your choice of meat. I like that the bar area is separated from the general dining area.
