My wife ordered the philly cheese steak. Waitress came back and said they have to sub the bread with a hot dog bun or Texas toast. Wife chose Texas toast. They smashed the bread paper thin. What’s even worse there was only one piece of bread. Cheese steak goo on thin bread. Even the waitress thought it was weird. My burger was the same. Both top and bottom of the bun were smashed making the burger a gooey mess. On the bright side, people were nice and service was excellent.

Reyna’s is the best restaurant I’ve ate at in this area. It’s a country diner +. I dare you to go to steak night and tell me their steaks don’t rank with the top steak houses in the country. Their service? Go a couple times and see if their service and friendly attitudes don’t rank up there with the top restaurants in the country.

I ordered the lunch special, hamburger steak w/ grilled onions & gravy w/ potatoes & corn. I was very disappointed w/ the steak. It was very dry, maybe overcooked & had no flavor. The sides tasted much better than the steak. I added a little salt 2 the potatoes & they were fine. I then added butter or maybe margarine 2 the corn. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance. Right ? My Mom has been here b 4 w/ my aunt & their friends. She reassures me that there are better tasting dishes here. Would I come here again ? Yes, if I was close by, but I’m live in Houston, 40 minutes away. I would definitely order a different dish though

I’ve never eaten here before, I only went by the reviews. I was tired of the same things in town. I had less than an hour to eat. So I called ahead of time to place an order. When I got there, the parking lot was full. Good sign. The staff was very friendly. The food was ready for me when I got there. It was delicious. I had the lunch special. Definitely recommend this little gem to anyone! I’ll be back for more!

Nice little hometown Cafe. Stopped here for lunch passing through east Bernard. Had a daily special beef fajita with rice and beans. Pretty good and cheap. Place was clean and friendly. Pretty busy, too.
