I ordered through UberEats. Food arrived within a good time frame. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The “smoked Turkey” taste like salty lunch meat. Maybe the other meats would be better. But the sides… house made Mac and cheese taste like it came from a box, and the green beans tasted as though they came out of a can. Garlic bread was good. I couldn’t even finish my dinner

One of the best BBQ eateries in Tidewater. If you have eaten at the historic BBQ’s of the past, Simps in Hertford, Cowlings in Waverly or the route 60 Pierce’s in Williamsburg, this is comparable to the mild vinegars off those pit cooked epicurean eateries. Friendly staff, great food.

Nice, no frills BBQ restaurant in an unassuming shopping center. I had the baby back ribs lunch special with fries and a salad, and everything tasted good. The ribs were on the small side but the meat was soft and fell off the bone. I thought it was nice that this restaurant has daily lunch specials and not just on weekdays. It was a good amount of food for the price. Last, the service was prompt and friendly.

This was 1st time I ordered food from VA Beach Rib City location and it was delicious and more than enough for 8 adults and 8 kids (ages 1yr to 17). We had the Baby Back Deluxe Pack with mac & cheese, green beans and extra order of backed beans and French fries.

The food was amazing! Not a single thing on my plate wasn’t delicious. The fries had a crisp crunch and packed full of flavor. The shell Mac n cheese was drenched in creamy cheese, packed with flavor in every bite. The ribs were fall off the bone with plenty of sauce and towlets. The breaded shrimp was lightly breaded with a wonderful cocktail sauce. The garlic bread that came with the meals was also delicious.

My husband and I have tried everything on the menu and we have not found anything that we did not like. Fried Okra is the best!!! You have to try the Coconut Cream Pie it is to die for. The ribs are awesome. The service is always good. You’ll leave with a smile on your face and a full happy belly.

I wish I had the experience of others. I drive by this place daily and finally decided to stop. The service was great, the place was clean but the food was trash. I ordered the lunch special baby back ribs with Mac and cheese and bbq beans. The ribs were dry and definitely not fall off the bone. It seemed as they were cooked from the night before and reheated. The beans tasted burnt, and the Mac and cheese was okay, but from a box. The best thing I ate was my garlic bread. I really wanted to like this place.
