They sat us down at a booth and forgot about us. After almost 20 minutes, we got up and left. They never even came over to take our drink order or anything. I tried to say something when we were walking out and no one wanted to make eye contact with us. We went down the street to a competitor and had great food with exceptional service. We will never go back

Even though baby back ribs are supposed to be small, they should at least be moist. They were fall off the bone though … because the little amount of meat that was struggling to hold onto the bone vaporized at my touch.

Let me start by saying that I live in Chicago and have visited plenty of Rib places. So I knew right from the beginning to lower my expectations for Rib City. After my first visit to Rib City I was disappointed by my order of Riblet dinner. Now keep in mind Riblet dinner plate should be a larger version of the lunch size Riblet order. I decided to go with a larger portion because I was feeling a bit more hungry than usual. When I opened my order I was not happy to see 4 strands of meat and a toast. I right away wondered if somehow I got the lunch version. So I decided that mistakes happen and I will order there again and see.

Rib City is one of my all time rib abs BBQ restaurants. This location certainly lived up to the Rib City reputation. The food was outstanding and consistent with other locations…..so delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly, helpful, and efficient. Can’t wait to return.
