I had had this only one other time with a couple of friends for lunch so I decided to go with my family because I thought it was good the first time. I’m not sure what happened between then and now but I’m sure I’ll never be able to convince my family to go again. My husband ordered the brisket dinner and he said it was the worst brisket he’s ever had. A large chunk of it was black and as a whole it was dry. Mine meal wasn’t terrible but definitely wasn’t great especially for the price!

This was my first time eating here. It was OK, but not great. The ribs had a good smoke flavor, but they claim to be “fall off the bone tender”. Not really, and there was not a lot of meat on the bone either and they were a bit dry. The sauce was good. I did like the baked beans. The Mac and Cheese tasted good but was a bit on the dry side. Service was good, but the place had an unusual smell to it…not a good smell, either. I changed my shirt when I got home as it smelled like the smell in the restaurant. I did find it funny that they listed Yuengling as an “import” beer.

Ordered to go for the first time !! I live a block away from the hamilton ohio store . My order was pulled pork sandwich on garlic bread, cheese fries and salad . Chicken dinner with mac cheese baked beans with corn on the cob and a piece of pecan pie . Get it home . Salad was box full of lettuce , no pecan pie and sandwich wasn’t on garlic bread. Call to complaine and talk to manager Mike. Conforsation started fine untill I was bit up set by his demeanor over the phone. He hung up 2 times . The third phone call was him answering as marry . Hung up again once I called him out on it . 4th call Mike was gone . Explained my frustration and made a complaint to corporate office . Waiting for a response . Food was sub par . The disclaimer says satisfaction garuntee. We shal see . Not sure I will eat here again . Sad service is like that at some places !!!

The overall experience was mediocre but the food was decent. I would say the ribs are better than I was expecting from the first time I visited. I do not think we will be visiting again because it wasn’t that impressive. I’d recommend just ordering ribs as the turkey we had was lacking at best.

Had not been in a few weeks and when we came back we found out the brisket had been taken off the menu. The BEST part about this restaurant. Will most likely not be back unless the brisket returns.

So I have ate here many times and always excellent. And yet again the service was excellent food was amazing. Tonight the owner stopped by the table to chat and that….that is what I love about this place. Your home!! My first job I waited tables in a small town for 7 years and the down home family restaurant is what made me love my job. This is not only a place I recommend to eat and bring the family but I would work here any day of the week and know I was at home. Thank you for making this possible. Kudos!!!!

Went to Rib City for dinner tonight and got a rack of baby back ribs and double mac and cheese and it was excellent. We’ve been here before and it was good but tonight they were hitting on all cylinders from the food to the service. Looking forward to going back very soon. You guys hit it out of the park tonight.

Ribs were room temperature or cooler on arrival at our table. We waited 25 minutes for hostess/servers to buss tables to be seated, drink refills didn’t come until the check. Although they had other people eating they were far from capacity and dinner rush hadn’t hit (arrived at 545 pm). They have the potential to be a great place, but our experience wasn’t that great.
