Our Barbecue is traditional Kansas City style, dry-rubbed, smoked “low and slow” and served with over a dozen house made sauces that incorporate different regional flavors. The restaurant has three wood fired smokers that burn imported Missouri Hickory and various local fruit woods including apple, cherry and peach.
While Rib Shack is known for its award-winning baby back ribs, we offer a wide variety of other BBQ meats including brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, chicken and spicy tri tip.

The food is awesome! Burnt ends, brisket, potato salad, coleslaw all amazing but don’t waste your date night because it’s a fast food joint with terrible atmosphere, plastic forks and knives barely work, horrible paper towels that don’t even clean your hands … Really just a take out joint. The food was good. I had the brisket tacos, which only had chunks of beef and slivers of onions. No avocado, cheese, or salsa. However the Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Others had nachos-very good, and burnt ends of brisket–melt in your mouth tenderness!

I can’t believe I did not find this place sooner! Phenomenal barbecue. Fantastic smoke flavor throughout the entire platter. Sides were strong as well. Mac & cheese and cream corn were both top-notch. I’m a little particular about barbecue sauce. With six different house. Sauces to choose from. I thought they had incredible offerings. Highly recommend.

Rib shack has a great variety of meats, bbq sauces, and top notch sides to bring it all together. The prices are fairly reasonable and the food quality is really good. I’ve never been disappointed by rib shack, can’t say that for any other bbq place in town. Highly recommend!

Recommended by a friend, and I am glad we took his suggestion. Ordered the burnt ends…delicious. My spouse had the brisket and fries. I could eat a platter of those fries. The big surprise was the number of different sauces that are available at no extra charge. All the different US regions are covered. We ate outside on the patio, the perfect setting for lunch.

We were at Houston winery and they had their food truck serving. How can you not give this place anything but a 5 star. Oh My hell the brisket is the best I’ve had in the treasure valley and the ribs were off the hook. I cannot wait to go to the restaurant. I’ve been to the other bbq just down the road. IMO this bbq is 110% better. The owners are fantastic people and thanks for the extra rib. DELICIOUS
