The reviews here were mediocre but I liked the menu. So I tried to chance it. I ordered a Blue Moon on draft (they didn’t have oranges which was fine but later I overheard they didn’t have limes either.) I ordered a one meat plate with sliced brisket, okra, and corn on the cob. The brisket was cold and extremely tough. I’m not sure I’ve ever had brisket I wouldn’t eat again. I combined the fire bbq sauce and traditional sauce to get a fairly good flavor but the meat was almost too tough to chew. Even the toast was cold and pretty crunchy.

Ordered 2 spuds with pulled pork. 1 spud had black spots inside that was visible when they opened it. 3rd spud ordered was a southwest salsa with chicken and a side of pulled pork. Received a plain potato, no SW fixings and only chicken. Pulled pork was dried out. Very poor food. This has happened several times during past visits. We give up on them.

The food bbq ribs were dry, the coleslaw was warm, and the plate was warm. Clear indication that my plate was microwaved. The desert saved the evening. The service was okay, but the waitress forgot to bring us silverware twice before my husband got her attention. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too loud.

Not sure how the food is inside the restaurant but I picked up a carry out order on the time displayed by the app and called the store to make sure the food was ready. I was assured the food had just gotten done and they would bring it to the curbside pickup, the food was very flavorful but as dry as beef jerky and the only thing that was hot in my order were the Mac n cheese and the baked beans. All the meat was cold and dry. Surprising for a Tuesday afternoon where the parking was full of cars and the restaurant seemed full inside. Very disappointed overall.

Rib Crib was a great choice for supper if you want delicious slow smoked barbecue ribs or brisket. The Barbecue brisket sandwich was awesome. The chips and pickles were a tastebud treat.

Service was the downer on this visit. In fairness they seemed to be short staffed. A server with red hair is the only reason this was not a 1-star. She stepped up and help cover our table and for that I tipped her separately. We waited 20 minutes for our server to take drink orders, 15 minutes before the drinks showed up. Another 20 before he took our food order. It did not get any better after the panicked look on his face when we said seperate checks. At least 2 if our orders had the sides. It was major and we were going to roll with it, but To more experienced servers stepped up and brought the correct sides. They also took our drink refills and brought them out. The food was ok not the level that I expect from Rib Crib. Chicken was dry, the other items were not as juicy as they should have been.

Froze to death. I’m talking 60⁰ in the dining area. Food was large portions and really good. Really busy at 1pm on Sunday. Club was a little dry but the rest of the crews food was on fabulouso and repeatable!
