Honemade fast food at its best. The tacos are made to order, and just like grandma used to make.

This is my favorite Mexican food place in all of Cruces. Their food is so good. I’m from Lincoln heights, east Los Angeles and this place is comparable to the yummy mom and pop Mexican places I miss back in LA. I recommend their carne asada burrito combo, their shrimp diablo plate, and their carne asada fries. Their Jamaica and horchata is also yummy ! This is a drive through casual dining spot fyi.

Ordered the Wet Beef Burrito, ate dine-in, burrito was served on a Styrofoam partioned plate with plastic knife and fork. Burrito seemed to have been microwaved to melt cheese as the Tortilla was very rubbery and chewy, which made cutting it on the wonky plate with plastic utensils almost impossible. As far as taste, was not great but not bad, sauce was a 4/5 meat was 3/5, tortilla was 1/5.

Looks a little rough from the outside, but so does my abuelita and she makes some delicious food. If you come to Ricardo’s, you’ll be getting exactly whats advertised, authentic California style Mexican food. I definitely come here atleast weekly for my favorite, “Super Nachos”. Give em a try, you won’t be be disappointed. Red salsa is delicious and portions are more than fair sized .

I love this place! Their food not only smells good but it tastes good too. My favorite is their chicken quesadilla. Their guacamole is my favorite as well! Over all 5 stars for me.

The food is good. I mean really good. But the price of everything, Is through the roof! Ridiculous amount of money spent for just two people to eat here.

My rolled tacos had a good amount of meat. Not a lot and not empty. Just right. Smell was amazing and taste was amazing. Went at 12:30 on a Friday. Backed to the parking lot. Took about 15 minutes to get my food. Great customer service.

Rolled tacos were great! The thing that made the meal better than some of the other Taco Shops I’ve ate at (Alamogordo, Las Cruces, El Paso) is they were tasty and the red hot sauce was really good. All the other taco shops I’ve ate at have basic, not good red hot sauce. Ricardo’s Taco Shop doesn’t have that problem.

A taste of home. I love living in NM, but I sometimes miss the style of Mexican food I grew up with living in south Cali.

Recently visited Las Cruces from Maryland and wanted an authentic meal and told to try Horchata. After searching I stumbled upon this gem. I pulled up to the drive thru unsure what to order. Ricardo was so pleasant , helpful and made a great recommendation . Shared that his mother makes tortillas fresh. I had the 5 mini tacos with mild sauce..oh my ! It was so good with fresh guacamole, onions and a large Horchata. I didn’t visit once but 3x in the week I was there. Definately recommend and will go back on next visit.
