I was just visiting from out of town, the food was very authentic, a great taste of Hispanic cuisine, Staff was very friendly, pictured below-Mondongo, Molleja, Pollo Guisado, Jugo de Parcha, Arroz con Gandules, I wish we had that restaurant in Richmond, Va, go and get your food on, Muy Bueno!!

Updated review: Definitely still amazing and authentic. Nothing is labeled so if you don’t know what something is you have to keep asking. Worth every penny. 8 months ago >Authentic Latin food Amazing see this layout of food. Reminds me of upper Jersey/NY/PR. The food was awesome and the taste was delicious. This was a Great experience of what I miss. So it diffently a must try if you’re in this area.

I am on a diet so sometimes being able to order out can be hard, but rice and beans made it easy for me. I ordered the grilled chicken with garlic and vegetables and let me tell you it was amazing. The food was so great the flavors were wonderful and I was pleased with the size it’s enough for me to have two meals. I will definitely order again! The photo is after I had already eaten a servicing and I mixed the food together. I am editing my review I have been back to rice and beans a few times now and tried their breakfast, and I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed with their food it’s amazing.

Was are 3rd time to this place . First time the food was good as was the service. Second time again food and service not bad. Today 5/28/23. Quality of both food and service awful not even a 1 out of 5. Our waited was trying to make the situation better. The exspierence was already ruined by a terrible server. Handling food after cleaning spills in kitchen area. No gloves even !

Authentic Caribbean food. Clean and inviting atmosphere. Visited during the peak of lunch hour, was pretty busy… but staff maintained their pleasant attitudes and made sure we were taken care of. We dined in and had the pepper steak with rice (myself, white rice and a side of habichuelas; my husband, yellow rice with gandules/pigeon peas). Food was great!!! We will definitely come back here to eat whenever we want “Spanish food” and I don’t want to cook it myself .

This food is my jam!!! I almost always get the yellow rice, bean gravy, & pulled pork, but they have so many amazing options to choose from that it’s hard to stay committed to just one. If you’re into fresh made, authentic Spanish food that tastes amazing, get to Rice & Beans!
