Love their chicken empanadas, however not so much the staff. They all have nasty attitudes except for the young girl that works the register sometimes and the man that usually sits outside. I asked for 3 no problem, loved it so much i came back and asked for 5 more and their response was more chicken empanadas and they gave it to me, only for me to get home and bite into beef. NOT EVERYONE EATS BEEF!!! and your not giving them away for free I paid for them so it shouldn’t matter how many I asked for, you either have it or you don’t. Smh horrible service here.

DO NOT EAT HERE If I could give no stars, I would. Ordered on Uber eats, portion size is so small for the price, rice tastes over a day old. Tasted a little rice and am sick to my stomach. Potato balls meat smell rotten. Extremely disappointed and a huge waste of money. Stop lying in these reviews most disgusting food I’ve ever ordered.

Very good food but holyy moly!!!! Those 2 or 3 central American women serving you got the nastiest Attitude of all time!!!!!.I felt afraid to even tell her she served me wrong I ordered half chicken with plantains & rice & beans she seriously puts 1 plantain & 4 little burnt pieces after smh!. Anyways it’s the smallest things that make a customer uncomfortable for God sake I’m afraid to come to this restaurant to order from them but the manager seemed nice…. He knows wats going on …..He knows.

Found this place when it opened waaayyy back when! NEVER been disappointed! So good we used them to cater special events at work. Rave reviews from folks just catching a whiff of the aromas! Gonna go when I come up in September! So looking forward to it!

By far, the best Dominican Restaurant I’ve had in the area. If you’re in the Queens Village/Bellerose area and would like to eat some delicious Spanish food, I would definitely recommend Rice and Beans Restaurant. It’s take out only. Don’t let appearances fool you. This place is a hidden gem.

Great local Dominican. Large portions, reasonable prices and excellent staff. Small spot and nothing extravagant on the outside, need to taste the food to understand their attraction. Give it a try.

The beans, rice and stewed chicken dish was delicious, however the fish sandwich on a roll with flan for $17.75 was a bit pricey. Unfortunately, the experience was dampened by the staff’s sometimes rude behavior.

I have been going here since I moved to the area and now take out at least once a week. The food is always always amazing and hits the spot. I highly recommend, its really a hidden gem. They give you so much food for the price of what you are getting and its just consistently great.

This is the best place to eat in Queens Village/Bellerose area. That fried fish is where it is at! Trust me. Yellow rice and white rice are good. Cheese empanadas are solid. Even the fresh made juices are a hit. Can’t go with anything wrong from this place.

Rice & Beans is the best hole in the wall Dominican food you’ll ever find. First the quality and quantity for the price is unrivaled, its fresh abundant and the price is perfect. My go-to is the rice with lentils, brown beans, plantains, and stew chicken for 8.50. The atmosphere is cozy, the ladies serving the food are very nice, please be kind and patient with them. David is the coolest most humble dude I’ve met, never receives any praise always thanks the community. If you’re in Queens Village and pass this restaurant, you’re missing out! 5/5
