The Rice Bowl on Westfield Ave. In Clark is a take out experience. The big draw is the quality and freshness of the food.

First time and last time. The price of food is very pricey for food that has no taste and look old. I do not recommend this location stay away.

Took quite a bit to get someone on the phone to order and then we ended up waiting at the restaurant as the food was not ready when they said it would be. However, food was worth the wait!!! Sweet and Sour chicken and General Tso’s chicken were huge all white meat pieces. Unlike anything we have had anywhere else! Also, egg rolls are very generous size and delicious! We will be ordering from here again.

Got food poisoning here. Raymond is not the greatest. Food tastes horrible, cheeped out on the quality, raised price. Food was good years ago. Once covid hit, business changed ways. Always forgetting items in bag and have to go back to pick up food. Go elsewhere for food. Avoid

This is not the Rice Bowl of my youth from 20 years ago. They used to have the very best Chinese food in a 20 mile radius. Ive been coming here since I was a child. It was a family owned business but was sold long ago. Everything used to be excellent, top notch. It used to be packed every nite but was well worth the wait. Even after it changed hands the food was still good, but not now. In the past 5 years, the food has gotten worse & worse. They used to have the best homemade shrimp & pork egg rolls. They were wrapped in a crispy light wonton wrapper but now it’s all cabbage & maybe 2 shrimp if your lucky & the same thick 6 layers of wonton wrapped around it. The fried rice is soggy & bland & the pork in it fatty. The house fried rice has 95% rice & veggies. The beef and pork dishes are chewy and all dishes have mostly vegetables with hardly any meat or seafood. Now the food lacks any flavor or taste. The soups taste like slightly flavored water. The pork wontons in the soup, well let’s just say I don’t want to know what’s inside of them cause it has no taste. The last time I got take out which was a large order of over 8 entrees which cost over $100 & it was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. It was a complete waste of time and money not to mention it gave me an upset stomach. We ended up throwing out what was left after our initial 1st servings. That experienced turned me off of Chinese food for 6 months. I will never go there ever again. I hate to give such a horrible review to any business but I don’t want anyone wasting their time or money as I did. It’s obvious by the lack of the quality, preparation & presentation of the food they don’t care or take pride in their business!

Get the General Tso’s chicken! It’s made with REAL white meat chicken and is absolutely my favorite. I’ve never had better chicken at a Chinese take-out. All the other places have gross processed chicken but this is the real deal. Nice family owned business, as well.. unfortunately they don’t deliver but it’s worth a ride over to pick it up.

Have been coming here for years because the quality of the food is much better than other places. The only thing I feel has gone down are the Egg Rolls. They used to have more pork and I believe I remember some shrimp in them but the last couple of times, it’s like 99% veggie and 1% pork nothing else.

My go to, sesame chicken, huge meaty pieces, the crunchy noodles they put at the bottom, after mixing in with the sauce.. Getsa lil soggy.. Uhhh soo good. Egg rolls are HUGE its the size of 2 regular egg rolls. Staff n owner are very polite. Definitely a place to try a different level of Chinese food
