This place is bizarre with its twilight zone time warp interior. It’s like walking into a filthy dive circa 1955. When you see that the menu has no prices that’s a hint to run the hell out of there. 3 lunches was over $120 and $5 more for using a debit card. The whole time I was there I was expecting the camera crew to come out and yell “just kidding”. It’s truly one-of-a-kind dining at its worst.

I went there to get egg drop soup, the Amoy was very large and they said they only had one size. When I was eating out of the first 32 oz bowl I found a bug in it, they were closed when I tried to get ahold oh them. I live in Los Angeles and have to call them on Tuesday to figure a way to get refunded I payed cash

When i went there it was run down, and weird with non fitting decorations on the walls. Also, look at the green in the tanks…these poor fish are not being taken care of properly. The food was not appealing, but was in huge quantities. There was only one person working there, and the place was empty. The soy sauce container had a line in the bottle and dust like it had not been switched out in a while. The chicken did not look like chicken in color because it was so pink, and oddly shaped. Over fried meat, and the rice tasted stale. I never even finished eating more than three or four bites of my food, and I just left quietly and paid without saying anything.

This iconic gem is a family owned restaurant that has been serving Lompoc for 75 years. They offer great food and service with a cool retro vibe. They offer a variety of Chinese and American foods. It feels like a diner with “The Best Chinese food in town!” Everything is served in huge family style portions. The combination fried rice is my favorite.

This place looked abandoned when my daughter and I went. The waitress was on her phone or smoking. The food was not good. Teriyaki chicken and rice was not good and the fried butterfly shrimp taste off. Both taste old and like stale beer.

It’s okay-ish. I am not a sour person and usually don’t even review places, unless it was impressive ( in very positive or negative way).

I used to work at this place years ago when Chuck owed the place. He was so meticulous and kept the place so clean and the food was great. In looking through the pictures I am surprised at how some things are the same and yet it’s not. Based on the pictures I see posted the food does not look as good and some the decor is a hot mess. I was also surprised with all the American dishes. Maybe they need to focus on the dishes that made this place great. Chucks son always worked along side of him and helped keep the restaurant so clean and organized so it’s hard to understand what happened. Really sad!
