Maybe it’s better if you stick to what they’re good at, and what’s in the steam table, I ordered Mongolian beef, $23 with tip, mostly green and red peppers, which is never in Mongolian beef, limited onions, and very little bit. I paid three dollars extra for the beach and I’m very disappointed at how little there was. I would expect for that price that I would get your standard order that generally would’ve had me for two days. Food was OK, nothing special, and the overabundance of red and green peppers was disappointing…. I’ve never had these in Mongolian beef. I won’t be back.

I’m quite sure Rice and Noodles replaced another Chinese storefront called…the Green Wok? Green Bamboo? Can’t be too sure now, except that I think I also reviewed them, so really hoping Rice and Noodles stays so I don’t have to write so many reviews over and over. As it is, Rice and Noodles is your standard Chinese mall-fare; greasy, piping hot, fast, and mostly tasty. Ironically, the previous restaurant served both rice and noodles with every meal, while this one simply serves one or the other, despite the name. Still, the price point is there and the owners are amiable.

I love Singapore Rice Noodle and when I saw it on the menu I had to try it. I was disappointed. It wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t good. It just was very inconsistent from noodle texture and seasoning, to the underseasoned chicken, and hunks of undercooked veggies. I won’t have it again here. If you’re spending over $20 a plate, even at a food court, and especially if they’re cooking to order, I expect deliciousness instead of meh.

I don’t know if people just have ridiculous expectations being on the east side and all but this place has excellent food. The Singapore noodles are the best I’ve had so far (and we’ve tried a ton of other Chinese restaurants) they are flavourful with a good proportion of vegetables and protein. The sweet and sour here is how it should be, sticky thick sour sauce with a hint of sweet, my kids love it and always get it when we are in the area. Their fried rice is also great.

I’ll start off by saying I’m super picky. One day I was craving a noodle dish. I tried their Singapore noodles and it was super fresh with thin noodles and moist chicken. Excellent flavor. I have not tried their other dishes but their Singapore noodles are bomb!!!! The people that work there are very friendly and professional.

They rarely have someone up front, it’s like they don’t want people to order food so they don’t have to work. But when I miraculously do find someone up when I’m ready to order, the food is fantastic. I always get the garlic honey tofu and it is delicious. Would give five stars if employees were up front and visible and appeared to actually appreciate their business.

Just got the sweet and sour chicken with noodles an hour ago. The food was hard and not edible. Then when we tried to tell the cook about it, She argued with us telling us that the food was not bad plus she didn’t offer to give our money back. I’m never going back there again, the pizza place is 10 times better.

Ordered chicken fried rice and a noodle dish to go, and was more than pleasantly surprised to find that their portions are HUGE (it was also delicious). I’m used to getting about half of the amount for the same price at most food joints.
