Well folks, I wish it was a better synopsis but avoid this place if at all possible. Nestled in a sliver of strip mall on 620, this place shares a lot with a great TexMex joint, and solid donut shop. Upon entry it gives hidden gem, dive spot Chinese food vibes. That’s where I wish I had turned and left. We order Lunch portions of the sesame chicken and orange chicken. Portions were skimpy, but lunch prices weren’t crazy. We both got “fried rice” but what we got was steamed rice, with saffron seasoning and egg bits. The egg rolls… well. They looked like egg rolls. They were soggy and not great after the 6 minute drive home. The spring rolls were basically cooked by the other food by the time we got home, and the wonton soups were… gritty? I can’t really think of a better descriptor. Now the meat. Oi vey, the meat. Do you like your chicken to be chicken like in texture? If the answer is yes; avoid the chicken. It is probably thigh meat but it is probably not supposed to be that chewy either. Needless to say, we had a lot of leftovers for being such small portions, and we are both still painting porcelain 2 days later. Save yourselves the the weekend on the John and just hit up Hao Hao if your in the area and need Chinese food.

I wasn’t able to eat any of it, I ordered orange chicken and cheesecake. Right after I left not even 2 minutes goes by and I get hit by 2 cars! I’m sure the food would have tasted fantastic it smelled so good.

This place is solely for takeout. I love their orange chicken lunch platter and Kung pow, too. The food is always made fresh to order, and the food portion is great for the price. The taste is also authentic and not flavorless like other Chinese food take out spots. They have all sorts of variety dishes to pick from. I highly recommend this place for your Chinese craving. Customer service is always on point too.

The chicken in our dishes was incredibly bland and seemed boiled. The basil had gone bad, and the jalapenos, green onions, and lime were visibly old. All of the food was bland and low quality. We didn’t come anywhere close to finishing our meals and opted to eat something else. Super disappointed, won’t be back.
