The exterior and the dining space could use an overhaul, but what you expect from a smaller family restaurant. Stopped in for breakfast with a party of 8. Wasn’t too busy and were able to find tables right away. Server had our drink orders in quickly. Took a little time to get our food, but for an 8 person table it was not unreasonable. Standard breakfasts were good (eggs, meat, potato). My 3 yr old got the french toast, and it was spectacular. If I ever get the chance to go back, full order of that for sure.

Should have listened to the terrible reviews. When we got there we sat at the bar, a really nice guy came up got our drinks to us quickly and then said our server will be right with us. The girl with brown and white streaky hair came to take our order… she didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing at all. I ordered my food with a salad, my husband ordered his food with cottage cheese. She didn’t ask about dressing so I assured her I wanted ranch. First my husband gets his cottage cheese right away, way before anything else when it was a side dish for his order. Our food comes out an hour later, and she tells me “oh I forgot to put in the salad” and then just BLANKLY stares at me before asking if I still want her to put it in. I told her no I didn’t still want it. At this point 3 people have come to chit chat around us while we have empty drinks. Our servers now come over twice once to give us our grease filled chicken and once to take the salad off the bill, and we STILL had to ask for a refill.

Went in a seated ourselves and a gentleman asked what we wanted to drink and we got our drinks right away and he said our waitress is coming over to get the order. We waited and waited and got ignored by her. After 20 minutes we left and a got ripped off on the pops because we only drank a little. I went to the register to say that I’ll pay for the drinks and nobody tried to make things right. The kicker is that it wasn’t even busy the drinks were almost 5.00

The atmosphere and service are delightful. Very welcoming staff. Friendly atmosphere all around. For my first time being here, the Patty Melt is delicious. The fries and ranch are a great combination, with the ranch being my favorite . The green tea is very relaxing.

Richard’s is not what it used to be. The sausage gravy is much thinner than it used to be. The restaurant itself needs updated. The food was hot, which is good, but the taste was lacking. Will I go here again? Probably not. Sorry, Richard’s.
