All 3 of us ordered the 3 piece chicken special. We all ordered mashed potatoes, I also had a salad, Dad had green beans and Brenda has the bean salad. The dinner also came with rolls. The food was very good..especially the chicken. The service was ok but I know she did the best she could being as there was only 2 servers. This restaurant needs 3 servers at least, during the dinner rush. I’ve been here before and I am sure that I will be coming back when I visit Columbia City Indiana again.

I’ve been here before a few years ago when I still lived in the area. We never had any issues. I forgot my lunch today and ran here on my break. This is tiny for $7 and I didn’t get bread. I’ve also gotten a salad here before when I sat down to eat and it was actually a full salad with bread

Excellent wait staff, excellent food & soups. We had a very good experience at Richards in Columbia City and they had fast service. The burger was done just right & the waitress always made sure we had a full glass. The best apple dumpling I’ve had in a while & the ice cream is amazing as well. 5/5 stars!

I was not satisfied with the food it was not seasoned well, the server only came to take our order and drop off are food and never saw her again. I’ve had hospital food that has tasted better. God forbid you ask for French toast instead of pancakes that’s against the law there lol let’s just say I’ll never be going back

Not a good experience, food was mediocre. It took the waitress 10 min to bring waters as she was chatting with someone about Mexico. The table behind us got bacon and not sausage and the kitchen requested the bacon back. Hopefully that means it went to the trash and not on someone else’s plate. Either way they wasted food or they just violated health codes. After we ate the waitress was still talking to the same customer about Mexico and a vacation, not checking on us once or refilling waters. I would not recommend this place.

The breakfast after 11 isn’t a full breakfast menu. Only certain items! My waitress was very impersonable and made me feel like I was just another piece of cattle being herded through! I thought by going to a locally owned restaurant vs going to Bob Evans on the opposite corner would be better. Guess I chose wrong. Thankfully I am just passing through and will remember to never stop here again if I am in the area! Just finished my BLT, the bacon was hard and cold as if it had been sitting for awhile. The lettuce was pieces from the end and some browning on the edges. The mayo was just a daub spooned on the center of each slice of bread, not spread evenly.
