This was our first meal on the island after arriving late Friday night. The food was downright delicious. We fed four adults and two kids on two orders of ribs and one order of chicken (with the addition of fresh poke and some edamame from the local grocery store). The chicken and ribs were cooked perfectly and our crew of picky eaters love the food. Make a plan to eat here while you are visiting you will be delighted with the meal!

Got the lychee ribs and huli huli chicken plate. Drove 40 minutes due to the raving reviews and it did not miss. Prob the best meal we had in Kauai, and one of the juiciest half chickens I’ve ever had (including the white meat). Plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and sink to wash hands after. Make sure you ask for the pineapple chutney on the side

Chicken and ribs were perfectly smoked. Juicy even the breast. Very generous 1/2 chicken and several rib potion for the price ($14 each). The lychee bbq sauce and pineapple sauce were so unique and delicious! A bargain anywhere on the island or the mainland. Sad we found this on the last day of our vacation. Go here! Definitely a hidden gem. Outdoor seating or take it back and enjoy. Heard the red building to the right of the yellow cart serves breakfast Wed-Sat. Want to try it next time I’m in town.

Bruh … Absolutely freaking delicious. Gotta stop here. Ritchie is da man ! – knows how to cook BBQ chicken in ribs like no one else. Mac salad is good too . If you want a delicious and filling plate lunch, this is the place.

Richie’s bbq is DELICIOUS! We had the Huli Chicken with a tasty bright sauce to drizzle and dip that we got from extra to go! The half chicken was super moist with great flavor and the mac salad, rice, and roll were great as well so no letdown anywhere on the plate! Best chicken we’ve had on Kauai. Richie was there to share that each island actually has its own version which was fun to learn, just like mainland bbq.

Cute little food truck with large bbq grill right off the highway. Staff is friendly and explained the food well. Outstanding Huli chicken – perfectly smoky and unbelievably juicy. Couldn’t recommend enough!
