Love this restaurant. Food is delicious, service is very good, best margaritas I’ve had in 30 years in Sacramento. Place is clean and has a traditional Mexican feel to it. Reminds me of some restaurants in Mexico. My favorites are the combo plates with either chili rellano or Pollo enchiladas with rice and beans. All meals include soup too.

Ricks Hacienda, serve amazing food and their customer service is most professional. The owners Gilbert and Carmen are very down to earth people and make you feel at home. I have been coming to this awesome restaurant for several years now and have celebrated several birthdays here as well. Each Birthday they make it even better. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays they have Karaoke. If you wish to celebrate your birthday call Ricks Hacienda and make your reservation I guarantee you will not regret it. For great authentic Mexican food I 100% recommend this restaurant.

It’s was great memories eating here. I worked at this restaurant in the 80s coming back after many years was fun talking about the good old day! The original owner recently past and the family hosted the celebration of life at the restaurant. The food was similar to what I remember, it was nice to see that not many structural changes were made by the new ownership. This restaurant is one of Sacramento’s iconic restaurants from the from late 50s

Summer
I came here for lunch with a group of seven coworkers. Their food was good and they have good prices for the lunch specials. The only problem was that they wouldn’t split the tab (not even into two groups). That was a bit of a hassle, but we finally worked it out.
