My boyfriend and I went for breakfast and I requested white toast as it is safest for me with a peanut/tree nut allergy. The waitress brought me rye toast which would have been fine if it was peanut free, so I asked her to double check. She told me “its bread it doesn’t have nuts”, to which I tried to explain I had to avoid anything that is made in the same facility as I will go into anaphylactic shock. I requested a new plate to be safe, to which she replied “it won’t bite” and walked away with an attitude. Terrible service and the food wasn’t that great either.

I was warmly greeted by the server and offered/given a free coffee and free soda with my meals. I got the early bird with the ham, eggs, homefries, toast, and also the croissant french toast which was excellently prepared. Everything tasted great and the server was very attentive. Will return when in area.

Awesome $5.05 Breakfast Special. Two eggs OE, 4 strips of bacon, home fries, rye toast and coffee, yes coffee too. The folks here are very friendly and attentive. The order came out in less than 4 minutes, kudos to the kitchen. My server did the follow-up within 2 minutes of the order served. Oh, and the rye toast was high quality that stayed warm and soft the entire meal. Good coffee too.

Without a doubt still the best breakfast in Wallingford Ct. There are a few other spots that are great, but Ricks is undeniably the best. Their bacon and home fries are amazing! My fiance says the eggs benedict is also awesome!
