I would have given 5 because the food was good! The dressing was real not stovetop stuffing and the ribs were flavorful but not that tender I only got 3 pieces I would have liked to get more meat my food didn’t include a drink for 19.00 I was also mis imformed about not having Apple Pay but it is available! Overall food was good! Will go back need to try other things

The most amazing BBQ and sides! Great portions and I would drink their bbq sauce if it were acceptable. I will drive the hour+ required for me to get here, it is just that good.

I just waited 20 minutes for them to open and was told at 1:00pm the opening will be delayed. The young lady came out at 1:00pm and asked if we were at the establishment for a catering order. I try to patronize at certain establishments but I’m always disappointed. This saved me from hearing the majority of menu items are not available. Thank you!

I tried this place out this weekend because 1. it was recommended by a coworker, and 2. my boyfriend has southern roots and really loves authentic southern food. The meals did not disappoint, the Chicago Style Tips was delicious and really one order was a heaping helping, more than enough. My boyfriend got the catfish dinner and cleaned the plate, so that says it all about that dish. Can’t wait to try the pulled pork and pinto beans. This is a must try if your in the area and love southern BBQ.

Ribs were ok… but the rib tips and wings were really good. Wife loved the Mac n cheese, baked beans, and collard greens. Got a lot of food at a really good price…. our new go to place for BBQ and soul food. Thanks Ricky!!

I placed an order with this establishment and the customer service was horrible! I got my order and it was wrong so I called in about it as I was still in the parking lot. They appeared to be more content with refunding me instead of fixing the issue. I gladly accepted my money back and will refrain from doing business again with them. I should’ve ran when I could hear as well as see their frustration with others whom was ordering as I was waiting. Then they have a young boy running orders who’s clueless. This is why businesses don’t have longevity due to poor customer service! Also their online menus isn’t intact with what they’re currently offering!

The food here was horrible and Disgusting. I bought a rib tip dinner and it was terrible. First of all the rib tips should be called rib chips. Because that’s all I had these people don’t know what a rib tip is. They took about 3 or 4 rib tips and chopped them into chips of meat chips. Don’t sauce tasted like ketchup. The chips of meat didn’t have any smoky grill flavor. Like they cooked it on the stove. Also the chips of meat were tough and chewy. Hard to swallow. I’m from Chicago. I grew up on really nice and good tasting barbecue. Those Ricks rib people ought to be sued for selling that garbage food to the good, fine people of Rockford Illinois.
