Probably one of the best Mexican ( tex / mex) restaurants in Oklahoma. I have been here twice while in Oklahoma City and never disappointed in the service, food, and overall atmosphere. The food is made with fresh ingredients you can tell right away by the taste and flavor. Service speaks English and Spanish which is how it should be in a restaurant like this. Overall an excellent choice for dining out, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Each visit is a wonderful dining experience at Ricky’s. We were so happy to have Antonia/Toni as our waitress. She is ALWAYS an absolute joy! We never have to ask for anything. She brings what we need before we even know we need it. The atmosphere is great and very clean. The food is soo delicious. 🙂

We love Ricky’s, but I will say the customer service has gone down quite a bit. It wasn’t very busy, although assuming that I only saw one waiter, they didn’t have much staff, in which I understand. But we had asked for more tortillas and they never came, also the waiter checked up on the other tables, but not once stopped by ours. On the plus side, the quesadilla was very delicious and of course we will probably be back.

The food and tortillas are super delicious and 100% homemade. Food is great. I ordered the fajita platter and have to admit, most restaurants have a dry cut of beef. But I stand corrected eating here. The steak melts in your mouth and tender to the cut. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Ted’s cant hold a candle to them.

I would not recommend Ricky’s cafe. The food does not have any flavor of any kind. I ate a couple bites of the Hot tamales. They didn’t taste like no authentic hot tamales are they tasted. Mexican rice was very plain and no taste. I even tried to put salt and pepper on it to give it some flavor that that didn’t give it much, taste. The service was good and a fear was great. But the food was not, great.

Place is seriously going down hill. Everything we ordered seemed put together with the cheapest/generic ingredients: chips were stale with no salt, the “super wet burrito” had hardly any sauce (so it was dry), the fajitas veggies were boiled in water (and were gross and oily), the table and silverware were dirty, and the salad was cheap shredded lettuce (ew), the waitress didn’t write down our order…so she got it wrong. It’s 6pm on a Saturday…the place is dead…now, I know why. We won’t be back.
