Me and my girlfriend got takeout and it was delicious. I got chicken biryani and my girlfriend got chicken tikka masala and both were flavorful, tasty, and delicious. The person I assume was the owner was super nice and the service was overall amazing.

Just enjoyed very delicious food from Ridwan – the Wantagh Clay Oven! Pretty sure I read a review in here yet I can’t pull it up now. I had chicken tikka masala , husband had lamb korma. The meals are put together as dinners in great containers that separate the rice, side veg, yogurt and a veggie samosa ; they even put both meats and sauces in separate containers. I really wanted to try their Dal and added a side of that to the meal; definitely some of the best deal I have had just like a friends homemade. The main dishes were excellent. The food wasn’t too spicy. Can’t wait to go back!

My wIfe and I enjoyed delicious lunch specials at Ridwan in Wantagh today. The food tasted authentic, truly home cooked, and the spiciness was not at all overwhelming. The dishes were a just-right” blend of aromatic spices that rendered a satisfying experience from the first bite to the last. The staff were responsive and very gracious. We’ll be returning soon!

Just had dinner at Ridwan and loved the food. Authentic Indian. Very tasty. Excellent sauces. Ridwan the owner was very nice and the chicken curry coconut and the lamb rogan josh were simply great. The restaurant itself is sparse and was a pizzeria in its former life. Don’t let this stop you from enjoying some great Indian food in Wantagh.

This place is a great little gem here in Wantagh. The food is amazing and the service is unparalleled. The owner is extremely kind and generous, and an exceptional cook. My girlfriend and I had the chicken tikka masala and the coconut chicken curry. Both were awesome. It was really cold and windy the night we went so he gave us some extra chai tea he had made and a fantastic small dessert bite on the house. Support this place!

I tried this place for the first time . Just had a craving for indian food. When i walkedd in i was imediatley approached by the owner at the counter to help me out. He was a very nice dude and patiently explained the difference between dishes and was certain things were. I forgot what my dish was called…buttered chicken i think…i got that in place of tikka masala. The dishes are identical i think the only dfference is the way the chicken is cooked. Any who, the food was fantastic i like how the dish came with basmati rice, a samosa, and a vegtable medly and the chicken was good quality white meat chicken. This place ia the real deal. Hopefully this place gets more recognition. I tried a different place yesterday thhat was located in bellmore because I like to compare. The palce in bellmore i think its called lazzat or somwthing like that, does not come close to how great Ridwan is.
