You’d be forgiven for thinking a non-chain Italian pizzeria is out of place in the shadow of Pilot Mountain. You’d be forgiven for being skeptical that it’s named for a pasta shape. But it’s actually good. The Greek salad, adding grilled chicken for a reasonable upcharge, was a huge portion of fresh greens, good toppings, and a ton of chicken. The pizza was pretty good too! It might not survive in NY or NJ but it stands up well, not “for Pilot Mountain” but in general. A pleasant surprise after a hike and before a wine tasting.

We eat here on occasion. They have really good pizza, i think its as good as any pizza around. Their lasagna is my favorite pasta. The sauce is a little watery and bland to me on the other pasta dishes. I enjoy their cheesesteak subs and Stromboli.

The food was delicious and the service was great! Like most restaurants right now, they had a help wanted sign in their window and I wasn’t sure how long it would take to get our food. I was pleasantly surprised though that everything we ordered came out very quickly! We ordered the broccoli bites for an appetizer and they were so delicious! Highly recommend!!!

Usually is a great place to eat but they messed up my pizza order. When I took the wrong pizza back to switch and asked if we could just keep the wrong one since they’d have to throw it away anyway he took it from me and threw it away. Just a bit unprofessional

My time at this restaurant was met with mediocre experience. I ordered a sub that was a decent sandwich. The taste of the bread was a little confliting with the rather bland meat of the sandwich but seperatly they would be great. My boyfriend ordered a spaghetti with marinara sauce that came out wattery like a meal from a jail that left me more than disappointed to see especially for the price. The server was polite but would not speak clearly causing me to ask them to repeat themselves multiple times. Lastly I’d say the highest point of my experience was to see a clean bathroom. While not perfect it is always nice to see clean restrooms in a restaurant.

Husband wasn’t very hungry, so he and I split chicken parmesan. The chicken was tough. We drank water. Granddaughter had hamburger and fries and tea. Those 2 plates and one drink was NOT worth $31.00 before tip! Plus tough chicken! We probably will not go back oh yeah, also had to flag down our waitress twice. There was only one other table with people eating. They had a waiter. We were our waitress’s only table. Everyone was gathered around the register talking and looking at their cell phones. Hate to write such a negative review, but truth is truth. Maybe the owner will see this and make improvements.

We stopped here on a whim because it was mother’s day and all of the other parking lots we drove by were filling in pretty quickly. All I wanted was some pizza… I’m so glad we decided to stop here! Totally worth driving from the other side of stokes county for! We will be back!
