I got 2 pombazo (pombaso?) and they were excellent. I do not recommend getting two, it is a large sandwich, but it is great stuff. This is a small, neighborhood place, and the biggest issue is parking. I literally looked at nearby apartments after I ate here in order to secure a better parking spot. I really like Chilanga cuisine, and this place is a great outpost for it. I strongly recommend a visit.

Great food and service! Very odd to see a restaurant in the residential area in the US but that really gives the ‘home cooked’ meal feel and there is literally an abuela making food for you in the kitchen.

I was looking to get some pozole this time, I tried some other place close by but when i get there it was close so I didn’t give up and ended up here and let me tell you, I didn’t regret. Pozole was YUMMY and my hubby tried caldo de res but he’s said it was just ok. The only downside was tables aren’t so clean but definitely I’ll go back to try more dishes.

Fantastic Mexican food. So much flavor. Tastes homemade. Ingredients and cuts of meat are high quality. Only one lady working inside like an abuelita (Mexican grandma) who was very sweet and cordial. Cash and card accepted. Seating inside and outside. Order at the counter. I had the California Burrito which was one of the best I’ve ever had: Carne asada, French fries, cheese, and sour cream. I also tried the Carne Asada Mulita, Carne Asada Taco, and Carne Asada Sope. Everything was delicious. Their green and red salsa were also very good – I generally don’t like red salsa. But here, I couldn’t get enough of it – had a great kick and packed a lot of flavor.
