The best pupusas spot around the area by far. Since you here I recommend you have a side of Atole De Elote: is a warm, thick and sweet beverage made with corn kernels, cinnamon, and milk. This corn atole is perfect to serve as breakfast or snack and is also the ultimate complement for tamales or pupusas. The only negative thing about this Pupusa Joint is that there isn’t a customer restroom. That’s a big minus for the experience.

First time trying this hidden little spot hiding over by Lake Mahopac. We live close by do we decided to order Take Out. Since it’s the Lenten season we decided to try out their seafood and we were not disappointed!! My husband had the seafood soup (mariscada) and it was phenomenal!! Very hard to find a good one made in restaurants around this area. I ordered their Shrimp in tomatoes with rice and beans, and that tomato sauce was delicious! I think we found out new spot!!

Pechuga Apanada con plátanos maduros is my favorite. This place makes great food. Delivered hot and always consistent. I like their Salchipapa too.

Pupusas are delicious! However need to give more generous portions of the curtido….fried yuca and pork chunks no good, tamales were decent, chorizo plate was okay, pollo a la plancha plate was delish, definitely will return but only for pupusas!

There are few happier things in this world than the two pupusas with fried plantains (+rice and beans)

I used to love this places the pupusas were always fresh but the last couple of times it seems they do the pupusas ahead of time and just reheat them which you can definitely see and taste the difference …please start making them fresh again

Lovely place. Owners are very sweet and treat everyone like they are at they’re home.. A must see place.. Greatest thing besides the wonderful foods that are cooked is the décor.

We went for the first time today. The popusas were great! I would go back just for that. My carne asada came out well done when I asked for medium. The side dish of rice was good though. The fried yucca and chicharron appetizer is NOT worth getting. The chicharron was way overcooked and dry, pretty much burnt and the yucca was fried in big chunks so the inside was still soft so you basically ate a cooked yucca. When I mentioned it and she saw we didn’t eat it, she just said that’s how they make it in El Salvador and left it on the bill. To bad pretty much.

Always wonderful. Authentic food from Central America. Huevos Rancheros are delicious, pupusas are amazing, but my favorite is the grilled shrimp! Try it.
