It was fine, nothing extraordinary. Their food wasn’t extremely authentic nor was it enough to be upscale Mexican food. This food is somewhere in between. We shared the 3 course meal and chose the tomato soup, chicken mole poblano entree with a pork tamale, and the pineapple tamale for dessert. The mole sauce was good, but the soup could have been more flavorful. Overall the best thing was the pineapple tamale as it wasn’t too sweet and all the flavors worked well together.

I hate to give any place that’s trying, a one star review, but I just wouldn’t eat here again, and honestly wish I hadn’t eaten there tonight.

They were so friendly and accommodating, and helped us customize our plates to be vegetarian. BEST CHILAQUILES OF MY LIFE. When I told the waitress how much I loved them she said they use a special ingredient that’s not often found in Chilaquiles you need to try them. Also a big fan of the old Mexican music playing.

This place was great. The Tamale was cooked perfectly. I got the Red Chile and should have ordered ten. The tacos were authentic. The staff was super nice and fast. The chicken taco was my favorite.

Really fantastic food. Not Tex-Mex. Particular to Puebla and the area nearby in SW Mexico. Excellent flavors. Super authentic. Wonderful service. Ask for variations like vegetarian and they can accommodate. A reviewer below says not very authentic. No way have they been to Puebla or Oaxaca. It’s the same as those areas. People say whatever.

Greatest sit-down and cheap place. I want all my friends to know about it, $2 tamales are so great and the owners backstory… is precious. I saw him once every 3 weeks or so knocking doors to sell his tamales, we bought here and there, but he finally opened his restaurant and I’m SO impressed. He’s really done a great job and you wouldn’t know how much he worked for it. The food will fill you up (2 tamales does me good for a very desirable price) and for the experience of a sit down, the wait time of relatively in-n-out

Fantastic every time I come! The atmosphere is nice, the service is quick and friendly, and the food is delicious! I am completely obsessed with the crema (a creamy Mexican soup), a go-to item every time I’m here! Cannot recommend enough!!

I had their tamales and they were pretty great and their customer service was on point! Some hot sauce with the order would have been great (delivery) but still great and the food is solid.

Paid $20 for this tiny bit of mole poblano. The second picture is what was advertised… Not at all close to what I received. Definitely not worth 20. Especially since it showed a large chicken breast, and I got a leg. Then the side portions were tiny. I’ve never received such small portions with a meal. I was still hungry after my meal. Needless to say I won’t go here again, neither will my family. Mole was ok. My sisters is better, and I’ve had better at other restaurants. Shame. I was excited. What a letdown.

Great little place, clean family oriented, it was soo good. You cant beat the price and its tastes homemade. Mole poblano had a little too much nutmeg but everything else was great. Will be back.
