We ordered a bunch of pulled pork for my daughter’s graduation party. I went to pick it up and there was no one here. No one answered the phone, nor replied on FB messenger. They ghosted us the day of the party. Now we have over 100 people coming and no main dish. I would not recommend trusting this establishment with anything important. I gave the food and atmosphere a 3, however I cannot attest to this as I couldn’t get in or pick up my order.

Oh .. my… goodness!!! BEST ribs and pulled pork sandwich EVER!!! Great friendly service. Owner is extremely nice. This is a family business that I hope succeeds and continues to grow. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT REAL BBQ!!!

Today my husband and I tried Ringo’s Pig Pen for the first time! I had the pulled pork mac-n-cheese and he had the full rack of ribs. The ribs didnt make the photo session . To say that it was wonderful would be an understatement! The BBQ sauce seemed to be more of a sweet vinegar base which is usually something my stomach doesn’t agree with. However, my belly doesn’t seem to be angry at all! Lol. Not only was the food delicious, the owner came out to introduce himself and gave us a little back story to the business and what his expectations were for the future concerning the town of Newell. What a bright future Newell WV has with this hidden gem!

Just found this hidden gem in Newell. Pulled pork Mac n cheese with spicy BBQ sauce was to die for. Amazing peanut butter texas sheet cake. Will definitely be back for the brisket on Wednesday and Fridays. Owners were very friendly and made you feel at home.

My wife and I stopped in yesterday for the first time to try it out. From the minute you walk in until the minute you leave you’re treated like family. Chad the owner and his wife are some of the nicest people you’ll meet! Speaking of “meet”, let me tell you about the meat. I had the full rack of ribs. I’ve eaten plenty of ribs from local places, to North Carolina rib places, to rib festivals and Ringo’s had the best ribs I’ve ever had. The sauce is homemade and spot on. The BBQ baked beans and cole slaw were delicious I had as a sides. My wife had the pulled pork Mac n cheese. It was a large portion even as an appetizer and she couldn’t quit eating it! Great experience and this will be frequent stop for us from now on. Thank you Chad!

We drove 4 hours to try this BBQ! We were not disappointed. Smoked perfectly with great flavor. We tried ALL the food and walked away stuffed with to go boxes. Hit up Ringo’s Pig Pen for the best BBQ!!!
