This was my first visit to Rio Grande Tagueria. The restaurant was very clean. The people were very friendly. The food was outstanding. The pork was recommended by the waiter. It was so tender and good. They made us feel welcome. I will definitely be back.

We were in unfamiliar territory & needed dinner. Found this nice restaurant tucked away off the main street. Great atmosphere with nice personable employees. The food was tasty with in house made authentic salsa. Menu was in Spanish & English, with Mexican & American made options (A+). Drinks were well made also. Overall, it was a good experience & would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good Mexican food.

This is the best traditional Mexican restaurant in LaGrange. The food tastes like they actually make it instead of heating up a tv dinner. Nothing we’ve had tastes weird or unlike our expectations. The food is always fresh and delicious. The margaritas are pretty as well as tasty. The restaurant is attractive. The service is a little slow. Mostly it seems difficult to get attention after they are done serving our food. They bring everything we ask for while bringing our food, but then don’t come back.

I don’t usually leave reviews but the food was so good, I had to. My family stopped by after a trip to great wolf lodge because we all wanted some authentic Mexican food. We were not disappointed. Definitely a hole in the wall treasure. Must try!
