As a Texan, I approve of this restaurant. Food came out quickly. The queso was so delicious I could have made that my entire meal. The beans had great flavor. The fajitas also tasted & cane out great. I also had perfect service by my waiter.

Cool spot, no HH on weekends but the food was good. Chips and salsa included as a freebie which is always a plus. Nice bartender. Good indoor/outdoor seating in heart of downtown Baton Rouge.

Simple and sufficient. Had the brisket enchiladas with beans and rice lunch. Not a rice person so got beans only. Everything was tasty, fresh and quick. As stated by others there is no additional charge for chips and salsa. Clearly my experience wasn’t that of the other “critics.” I don’t tend to write novelettes about unpleasant experiences either. The ONLY thing I would have done differently would to have asked for double beans – they are just spicy enough and most tasty!

Great atmosphere. Probably the best shrimp tacos I’ve had. I asked the gentleman behind the bar, to fix me his favorite drink which was a tequila old fashion. It was very good.

Honestly, I hesitated for a while to review but between the terrible food and lack of service on July 4th, I would not ever recommend this place. The beans were somehow incredibly salty despite obviously coming from a can. The drinks… left a lot to be desired. And we had about 3 different staff members come by to check on us infrequently and often forgetting basic things. Save your money. It’s not even cheap.

Just leaving from this place and was not satisfied at all! Went to enjoy a night out for taco Tuesday and left going home with an empty stomach! I never knew tacos where the size of the pizzas in the lunchables. I feel like I just flush $40 down the toilet because I’m going home to eat leftovers. I should have did that in the first place, at least I would be full. I will never recommend this place to anyone!
