We love Ripka’s! Their food is delicious and fresh. Not your janky beach food place like most places you would find. Absolutely love their Caesar salad, pizza and lobster rolls! Lots of live music and events throughout the year. Drinks are yummy too! I will note it does get busy during peak times but worth the wait.

The fries are outstanding, the ice cream tastes old and I’m not sure the food was thoroughly cooked. A nice atmosphere to say nonetheless, could use better customer service, but a nice establishment overall!

Been coming here for a few years but decided to do a review today. Ripka’s is a gem of a place right by Calf Pasture Beach. Where you would suspect a normal little snack hut to stand is actually quite an impressive location with a varied menu full of food and drink options.

The food at Ripkas was good but the locals here are the worst. Came to eat here and we were given 1.5 hours to park at the extremely expensive parking lot. We tried calling around a bit since we had so much time and were harassed by a local for walking to the beach and not staying at the restaurant. The parking lot was empty on a Monday at lunch time Seems a bit extreme wouldn’t come here again.

ROTTEN SEAFOOD …Manager can’t handle the pressures of serving fries for a living , food made us sick, all around horrible first time experience and never coming back. Don’t waste your time just go to overtons around the corner its the real choice for fresh seafood this ripka place is just a huge stain on the community

We used Ripka’s catering for our wedding at Sheffield Island. We booked this with them in January of 2020 and through all the uncertainty they stuck with us and put together an incredible event. Since we did not have dancing due to COVID, the food was the main focus (after the bride, of course). Clyde put together passed appetizers plus a 5 course meal, with wine pairings and it was some of the best food we’ve had. Our guests were raving! The staff that day couldn’t have been more accommodating and made sure we had everything we wanted. Would absolutely recommend for catering and can’t wait to spend more evenings at the beach cafe.

We had a Reunion party at Ripka’s and The atmosphere, food and service was off the charts great. I recommend Ripka’s to anyone and everyone in Norwalk, Fairfield County, and out of towners visiting and looking for a great outdoor venue.
