I can’t rate the food or service because we were not able to get in. Their own web site states that they open at 11:30 on Friday so we drove down there around 1:00. When we got there the sign on the door said they opened at 3:00. Later I looked on Google and noticed that Google says 3:00 as well. I’m not sure why the restaurant’s web site is wrong and Google is correct. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to go sometime when they are open so I can give a better review. In the meantime I hope they take the time to have the hours on their web site updated.

I drive by RipTide daily on my way to and from work. I decided to try them out one day since I was craving fish & chips. Best decision of the day as it was by far the best fish & chips I’ve had since coming to the East Coast. The fish was cooked to absolute perfection in my opinion and not overly breaded/battered as I’ve seen in so many other places. The portion of fish was great and the chips were plentiful as well as crispy. I will definitely be coming back.

Went there for our first time last evening for our anniversary. Ordered the $39 seafood platter. That was a BIG MISTAKE. It was was pile of french fries covered lightly with overcooked seafood. Everything was overly battered and fried to beyond recognition. It was like having crispy nothings. It was the worst ever. I must conclude that the waitress was awesome and the entertainment was great, but the food, not so much. We won’t be returning.
