Definitely a place to rise and shine. The best part of this cafe is the personality. I feel as though I am at a friend’s house with mom makin’ breakfast. The Chef is terrific and makes you feel at home. The menu is extensive and everything looks delicious. You get a lot for your money and if I lived closer this would be my breakfast spot.

We’ve been loyal customers of Rise and Shine for years now. There are so many things that keep us going back. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. We usually have Paula as our waitress, and she is amazing! Coffee is poured hot and fast, and we don’t wait long to order and receive our food. It’s always been well prepared, fresh and delicious. We really like the fresh muffins by the register, and often take some to go. The prices are reasonable and I have no doubt if we ever had any issues, they would be quickly resolved. Highly recommend!

I ordered 2 eggs over easy, they were over medium, hash browns are sliced potatoes with the skin a few onions and no seasoning. 2 English muffins with extra butter were semi-rock hard. The Homemade Corned Beef Hash was fresh and I tasted a few larger pieces of corned beef but I think they grind the majority too much, over all though, fresh and yummy. Hometown feel, nice people and great service.

We were so excited to try a new local spot (new to us) we were greeted and everything was great. Till all of the customers that came after us were served food before us (no lie it was like a family of three and then 4 separate people seated individually) all of which got their plates way before us, which fine it is what it is. But the one thing that was asked which was provolone (my boyfriend literally gags from American cheese) they put it on . Oops no big deal he asked for it to be remade with the correct cheese. The waitress asked the cook “you put not American did you” “no it’s not” They brought him the same sandwich…. With provolone on top of it. We pointed it out and they kept lien , saying that wasn’t American. It was square, so I google it and surely provolone is made in log form. So we both lost our appetite. And asked to just be excused… neither of us took a bit at all, they threatened to call the cops…. We never took a bite of anything. They were yelling and screaming we didn’t raise our voice till we we walking out.

So I have lived next to the place for a few years and decided to give them a try. My first time I ordered an American cheese omelet and got Swiss it was to go so ate it anyways, next time I went in it was correct and I really liked it. And now it’s my go to on Thursdays on my day off.

One star because she was kind and smiling … looking back tok hard. What is it called when you have breakfast out and less than 3 hours later you are coming up out of both ends ??? Uncontrollable and I legit have been feeling amazing thought I’d retreat self to a quick bite NEVER AGAIN ew and the lady cooking was sneezing coughing behind the little window smh ugggh! Only issue it had is it says the hot dog comes with french fries and coleslaw they, gave me a bag of chips I mentioned that it says comes with fries then they gave me my French fries but they didn’t have coleslaw. Other than that everything about Rise and Shine is very good.
