Being a First Responder- we look for good spot to eat. A co worker mentioned this spot so we decided to stop by. Ox tail w white rice & baked mac&cheese Taste was very descent. Mac&cheese was to my liking & wasn’t dry. Paid $27 and the Drinks was $3 each. I would recommend the Drinks.

Went here on a thursday afternoon and we thought it would be good. Both my friend and I are Guyanese, and when we first entered the place everything looked really good. The cheese rolls are really big, the pine tarts look really nice. But looks could be deceiving. We got the food and it was not good. I don’t think we’re going to come back.

My husband googled Guyanese caribbean restaurant and came up with this spot on Sunday 6/12/22. He purchased coconut buns and Chinese cake. At first look the Chinese cake was tough. I put it in the microwave for a few seconds. It still was tough. I bit into it and exclaimed, this taste very stale, but to my utter disgust and shock, I almost passed out when I saw what I ate. The inside of the pastry was filled with fungi and mold, obviously prepared many days ago, and not disposed of as is customary in the restaurant industry. No, I do not recommend.

I got pholourie for $3.00 and a drink that cost $5.50. The lady at the counter gave me samples but didn’t inform that this small juice would cost so much. And then they have the audacity to charge an $0.80 fee for the use of a credit card and request a tip on the register. The pholourie wasn’t all that impressive either. This is my first and final trip here. They shouldn’t even be in business disgraceful!!!

The food is definitely good and cooked with fresh ingredients and not just spice rack powders, so I get the slightly high price! I was offered samples before I buy (almost nonexistent these days).

Went there on a Saturday evening, it was new to me so I wanted to give them a try, I got a sweet and spicy chicken dinner with rice &peas cabbage It Looked so Inviting I couldn’t wait to get home, I got home and Boy was I Disappointed the Chicken was Tougher than Leather Cabbage was Raw (Not Cooked) tried to call but by that time they were closed they wasn’t open Sunday so Monday I called (I can admit I was a little salty about my experience there because the food Looked like it wasn’t Freshly Cooked) So I spoke to the woman there (Dawn) I told her about the food and asked her how she would compensate me The First Thing She said was She wasn’t Giving Me No Money Back That Annoyed Me, So I asked Again Then She said she’ll Give Me another plate so I came back 3 days later and Got another dish Jerk Chicken rice and peas and some chick peas didn’t want cabbage again, I Took That food Home and was Disappointed Again The Chicken Taste Like it was Cooked Yesterday It wasn’t Fresh Cooked the Meat Didn’t Fall Off the Bone It wasn’t Juicy Like Jamaikery Bakery or Limins Caribbean This Place Rise The Food is Garbage

We were just passing by and say let’s try them. Customer service 100% , clean 100%, food 100% I highly recommended this place. We will be back and tell people about this joint. Most Caribbean places, it seems like the people always mad, places dirty, food may be good but the manners stinks.
