I was recommended this place by a friend when we went on a weekend trip. It did not disappoint! Even though there are other restaurants that we wanted to try and we came back on our second day because it was all good. The staff was friendly and helpful and tables are clean. they offer a large selection of all kinds of breakfast tacos. The tortillas are hand-rolled you can see an old lady in the back rolling them with a rolling pin. If your in the area, it’s worth a stop!

Sadly the service has really tapered off the last couple of years. Today confirmed I will not go back. Not only have prices gone up with the portions going down but they expect 18%-20% gratuity and I didn’t get a smile, a thank you, or anything sort of recognition from the young gal taking orders. I had to ask for a bag to carry my $40 order of drinks and tacos out this morning. Such a huge disappointment to get someone who would rather be anywhere else and doesn’t care who knows it. I saw her treat 6 other patrons the same way so she just loves to share her misery, and then ask for a tip.

We ate here for breakfast before hitting the road back home. All 10 of us enjoyed our food. Delicious homemade tortillas. Food was made when you ordered. Super fresh. 10/10! Great customer service. They were very quick as well. Try this place. You will not be disappointed. If you order the Blayne Burrito be ready to share. Super huge.

Some good and giant tacos!! A little bit different than your ordinary tacos you get from other taquerias!! The tacos have names like the Big Blayne !!! And some pretty ladies working here also is a nice treat!! Come by next time you in Kerrville you won’t be disappointed!!

I ordered potato and chorizo tacos. One the tortilla is really bit which would be a good thing but they barely put any food in it. Two it’s burned. I would not recommend Rita’s tacos.
