Nice spot for this area. Inside is beautiful and very reminiscent of an old general store. Food was okay. We went for lunch. Hubby had fish/chips (homemade potato chips) and I had cheeseburger. We’ll return to try other dishes.

Stopped by for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. They recently completed some renovations inside. Ritchie’s provided a great small town atmosphere, quality food and nice customer service. The Boston butt was delicious! We spoke to Ritchie briefly. He was friendly and seemed to genuinely care about us leaving his establishment happy. Will be going back!

On May 30, 2023 my husband and I asked some friends of ours if they wanted to go to dinner. We picked Ritchie’s, we try to support local businesses. We all ordered our food and sat down. While we watched other people come in after us and get served before us we started to wonder what was going on. My husband went up and asked them, they informed him that the food was being plated. We waited for a while and saw other people getting served before our food came out. A woman brought out a chicken wrap and two pieces of toast that was part of our order. We waited some more and then another dish of pot roast came out. We told our friends to go ahead and start eating while we waited for ours. My husband and I had ordered the Cajun pasta. A young girl came out and stated that our food had been served to another table in error and that our food was coming out shortly. My plate eventually came out but my husband’s did not (remember, we ordered the same thing). My husband and I shared my plate and his plate eventually came out. This was the worst service I have ever gotten from any restaurant. The sad thing about that also was that they ask for a tip when you pay before you even get your food. We will not be going to Ritchie’s ever again. You lost our support.

Be sure you call before you drive all the way to Loris! Third time we have been and found it closed. We will NOT ever go back because they won’t post hours on line. The website tonight says OPEN! Good food doesn’t do you any good if they are never open.

There was a place to park out back. Easy to get in and out of. After going in there the first time. In less than a month we have been back five times, we have yet not been satisfied with the food.We have lived here just over a year now. We have been trying all the different places in town to eat at. We have been looking for a nice place to take friends out to eat at. We have found it. The staff where friendly and helpful, the food was very good. We will be back. I see that they are expanding, I say that is a good thing. Once people find out about this little place, they will be telling others and coming back. Think you very much.

We just found this restaurant in Loris, SC and it is wonderful. They have a great selection of meals and the food is excellent. There are right on the main street in town but do have plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant. Check it out because the food and service are excellent.
