Very busy on Mother’s Day, but they fit us in within a reasonable amount of time. Very good food, prepared well. Great servers too – they kept checking up on us and were friendly. You can also sit outside and look at the river with a great view of the river. Finally, to the left of and outside of the restaurant there’s a mini “Stonehenge” seating area. Nice place – good times and I highly recommend River. Wish you the same.

Not recommended. Terrible customer service. On the waitlist for over 3 hours. Then we were told they didn’t have us on the list. Although we had proof, we were told we would be put to the end of the line. That’s no way to treat a customer. And You definitely shouldn’t have a bad attitude when it’s your system, your mistake. Higher end establishments pride themselves on good customer service. I guess this is more of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Great location along the Tuscaloosa River Walk, very nice atmosphere, the restaurant was busy on a Wednesday evening. Friendly and courteous staff, my waiter was Brett, he was awesome. The food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious, I began with the “Rockefeller Stuffed Mushrooms”, then Salmon and a great dessert: crème brulée.

Excellent ambiance and food quality. The sausage board was delicious. My husband got the Osso Bucco which is great quality veal and loved it. I went with a salmon topped salad and it was very tasty. The waitress was wonderful and the cheesecake when suggested was awesome. Highly recommend you give this place a try!
