Food’s excellent if you ever get served. I’ve twice sat for 20 minutes before even getting a drink order in. One time it was busy; the other time I was literally (and I mean literally) the only one in the dining room, and the waitress passed me 3 times before I flagged her down. On the times that the service didn’t suck, though, I’ve never had a bad meal, and I’ve tried several things on their menu. Think I’ll order it to go from now on, though.

Great food! Uniquely crafted menu items like their loaded cheese curds. Wings are really good to. Bar service is good, but their cocktail waitresses are not very attentive in asking if we’d like anything so we usually end up walking to the bar to order drinks and food. Darts, pool, occasional live bands, bean bags in the summer, etc. Awesome location right on the river so bring your folding chairs and fishing poles during fishing season!

This place was dogey but the weather being nice brings it up a star. I attended a wedding here and the staff are the best part of place. They’ve got smiles while being very short staffed for the number attendees. The drinks are reasonably priced, the food is actually very good! The appetizers especially stood out: BBQ wings, hot wings, cheese curds, jalapeño and bacon cheese curds, onion rings, chicken strips all very tasty. They got a nice fire pit and being adjacent to the river helps too.

Fourth visit, everytime the food is great, friendly staff, and enjoy eating outside with our dogs! Fish tacos, chicken Alfredo (sauce was total YUM!), burgers, BLT…..will be back the brisket Mac and cheese is calling.

On April 29th we had a Celebration of Life event on the back side of the bar area. There were over 100 people who were in and out during our 4 hour time slot. My mom cannot begin to express how wonderful our experience was; from getting the reservation placed, to ironing out their catering menu, discussing how we wanted the room set up before the event day, to the event day set up (to which they had given us full reign to use the space how we felt we needed). The food was great and our guests raved about the selection. The weather cooperated and the kids were able to be outside on the deck space as well. Out-of-towners enjoyed the view of the river and thought the space lended itself well for such an event. Our family felt very well tended to during this difficult time and respect given to our questions and concerns, which we whole-heartedly appreciated. We would highly recommend the River Inn for any event you may need. Special thanks to Manny, Jess, and all the staff assisting us last Saturday!

This is a great place to go eat or relax and have a drink with your friends. The bar tenders are always friendly. They have live music almost every weekend. I highly recommend stopping by The River Inn when you get a chance.

Stopped on Friday in the area for the weekend and were completely ignored by bar tender and server after waiting 20 minutes and no service left to the next door establishment and had a nice dinner.
