Great side neighborhood bar!! Love their food. The summers are fantastic that you can pull up boat side and sit down on the docks and even in the winter it’s a great time! Great staff, always kind and helpful. I’ve never had a bad time here. Daily specials are delicious as well!

Great pit stop on our way to SW Minnesota! Turkey burger w side salad and River Tots were quite tasty! Didn’t give it 5 stars as they didn’t have a daily soup choice. The outdoor seating and river views are a plus to enjoy an adult beverage. A little tough to find – but worth the search. Friendly staff, dogs and patrons. Can’t wait to stop again.

Absolutely an amazing “Dive bar” on the banks of the Black River tucked away nicely on French Island. The Bartenders are always great and up for a bar dice challenge. Live music on the patio was both entertaining and not too loud. Try a mystery shot as you cannot go wrong.

Local bar with great view of the river. I ordered the house club and my wife had the Reuben special. They have a large selection of alcohol including the bartendres special concoctions. Caitlynn’s unnamed drink. The sandwiches were huge. The deep fried cheese curds were home made and delicious.

Fantastic find to grab a yummy bite to eat with the family. Lacrosse was the halfway point for our drive and we decided to eat at River Rats based on reviews. It did not disappoint! Service was friendly and quick even though there were busses of people coming and going for a Boody Mary pub crawl. Food was awesome! Definitely a great place to check out hidden in Lacrosse!
