We loved this place! We were on vacation and stumbled upon this cute little dive bar. Turns out they have huge nachos, seasonal drinks, and trivia night on Tuesdays! I had 3 Peach Moscow Mules and loved them! The cheese for the nachos was top tier for the buck!

We ordered takeout for 10 people and everyone was happy with their food. Burgers, fries and salads were excellent. We didn’t get an answer when trying to call in the order so just placed the to go order within the restaurant, which resulted in a bit of a long wait. But food was great and will definitely visit again!

Very Cool Vibe & as they like to say ‘elevated’ bar food and we have to agree. The Burgers were outstanding & you could really taste the smoke flavor in the Pulled pork which they smoke on the premises! The white Queso is made from scratch along with most of the menu items. They Also feature a Good Variety of Beers & handcrafted cocktails. Our Server & manager Shanna provided great service & the Head Chef, Mike, stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. Now that’s what I call outstanding service! The cool patio is Pet Friendly and our Lil Hope enjoyed her outing! Highly recommend River Rose Tavern!

We took a trip to Canyon Lake and found this River Rose Tavern on Google. Waitresses and bartenders are great and very friendly. Service was awesome! Food and drinks were even better! All the wait staff came to check on us to make sure we were good. Come on Thursdays when they have open mic night. Great entertainment while dining in. We will definitely come back when we visit again!
